THE SPACE -
Glistening water views and New Haven skyline sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed by either taking a stroll along the Pardee Seawall or from the comfort of each newly updated bedroom and living room.

If you are planning a stay for your wedding day, you can take photos directly across the street, just a few steps away, on the Long Island Sound. We have an assortment of wedding props, including a red heart umbrella, flowers, Happily Ever After signs, wedding banners, Mr. and Mrs. signs and more! We also have a full length mirror for dressing, bride and groom emergency kits, and much more. (See pics!)

Fall is the perfect season to visit New Haven as there are plenty of fun things to do. Enjoy dinner at The Deck at Amarante's Sea Cliff which has live entertainment. Visit a pumpkin patch, visit a corn maze or a hay maze, visit a local brewery, take a drive or a hike in one of the many State parks to see the beautiful Fall foliage, or watch a football game at University of New Haven, Yale University, or Yale Bowl. December 2023 stay to see New Haven Fantasy of Lights at Lighthouse Point Park between November 18th through December 31st (Sunday - Thursday 5pm -9pm. Friday & Saturday 5pm - 10 pm. Upstairs, the master includes a king-sized bed, a twin bed, sitting area, designated desk & work station with laptop trays & chargers, a Smart TV and walk in closet (with wedding props for photos, free-standing tri-fold dressing mirror, chests containing items for brides and grooms getting ready on their special day, tri-fold lighted vanity mirror, ironing board and steam iron). The full bathroom is equipped with double sinks, a jacuzzi tub and shower enclosure. There are luxury shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, as well as toothpaste, toothbrush, mending kit, razor, hand held mirror and blow dryer available for use. The second bedroom includes a queen-sized bed and Smart TV . Both bedrooms enjoy complete views of the Long Island Sound.

On the first level, enjoy the eat-in kitchen, equipped with all new appliances, coffee & tea station, toaster, microwave, NutriBullet Blender combo, toaster oven, blender, pots/pans, spice rack, and every possible amenity needed for cooking, which seamlessly flows into the dining room area for additional seating. There is a bar cart with champagne, wine, martini, and scotch glasses as well as mixology set. (non-working fireplace). Out the back door, there is a deck and you are also welcomed to your private fenced in yard and patio, with access to a brand new BBQ grill, outdoor seating and a fire pit.

The living room has two sofas - one of which is a queen pull out sofa bed, large Smart TV, sitting area and chairs to relax in as you look out to the amazing Long Island Sound views. There is also a desk. There are plenty of games and books to enjoy, laptop table, and the closet holds many necessities for a day at the beach, including beach towels, blanket, chairs, umbrella, portable Sunnylife Beach Sounds radio (works with any smart phone or tablet to play your own music), and cooler.

The front lawn has two adirondack chairs from which you can gaze out at the Long Island Sound, listen to the seagulls squawking and watch the sailboats go by. The back yard has seating for 8, a gas bar-b-que, and a firepit. String lights light up the yard at night. We have onsite parking - which holds 6 cars comfortably.

There are Micro-USB, lightning & USB-C cable to sync and charge all devices with one cable, high speed international chargers with adapters for UK, EU, US & Canada, Lexon Mino+ wireless bluetooth stereo speaker, drop wireless charging pad for fast charging, and a wireless charging dock for fast charging.

Our home is surrounded by various beaches and various festivities are available nearby, all year-round! The Easter Egg Hunt in the Spring, July you can view the fireworks from the Pardee Seawall, September check out the Sound on Sound Music and Food Festival, October's Halloween Parade, and the Fantasy of Lights which begins mid-November through Dec. 31st. are a must-see . Just a 5-minute drive to Lighthouse Point Park allows for family fun in both the winter and summer months. Get into the spirit of the holidays with the annual drive-thru ‘Fantasy of Lights’ display, or in the summer cool off with the kids by frolicking thru the Splash Pad or reliving childhood memories while riding on the Lighthouse Point Carousel.

Morris Cove location directly along the Pardee Seawall and Long Island Sound (semi-enclosed arm of the North Atlantic Ocean) where you can enjoy a nice stroll, take wedding photos and and watch the sailboats go by or have a great beach house rental all to yourself. Located near Anthony's Ocean View, Amarante's Sea Cliff, New Haven Lawn Club, and Woodwinds. Beaches and parks are minutes away. This is an extremely quaint and quiet neighborhood where you can get away to enjoy some quiet time and relaxation. This is a shoreline neighborhood which is primarily residential. Yale University, Yale New Haven Hospital and Downtown New Haven are also nearby. A mere 5 miles from New Haven Union Train Station (with connections to NYC-Metro North & Boston-Amtrak and CT Rail to Hartford and Springfield, MA), 2 miles from Tweed New Haven Airport (now with flights to and from Florida!) and easy on/off access to I-95 & I-91 and bus a few blocks away. 80 miles to NYC and 40 minutes to downtown Hartford.
