This charming and comfortable space has two bedrooms, each with private full bath, a cozy living room with plenty of seating, a fully equipped kitchen with dining table and a front porch made for morning coffee sipping.
Your private fenced in backyard completes the space and is just the right size for relaxing in the sunshine.

The location of this property is fantastic - the downtown area was just a short walk away, within minutes we were able to enjoy all the shops, restaurants, festivals, & boat rides! We never had to worry about finding a parking spot - it was wonderful! Beds were comfy & we loved having the 2 full bathrooms. Thank you!

Wedding weekend

Bakers Bungalow was a beautiful, cozy spot to stay while enjoying my daughter’s wedding weekend. It’s on a quiet street and walking distance to the quaint downtown area. We hope to visit again!

Our stay in Mount Dora

Our stay at the house was great. Great location to town. The driveway to the right of the house could use some work there is a big hole right at the back where you get your thing out of your vehicle. My husband almost fell in the hole. He is fine. It just needs filled in. We would come and stay again

Perfect location Mt Dora

This was a perfect cozy location for a short stay in Mt Dora. We could walk everywhere. Well equipped kitchen (except no coffee filters) and nice full size bathrooms.

Awesome place and location

Was right across the street from where the free local shuttle would pick up to take you downtown. Very quiet neighborhood and the place had all the amenities you would need for a great weekend in Mt Dora

Great little bungalow!

Your bungalow was a perfect place for my friend and I to meet for a little getaway. It was clean, comfortable, cosy and very cute. Close to downtown was a nice plus for us. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Cozy slice of Mt. Dora

Such a sweet little place just minutes from downtown Mt. Dora! Nice sized bedrooms and bath (suites), cozy sitting area and cute kitchen. Backyard is set up for a small group of folks to hang out around fire pit! We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect little bit of paradise

Charming little cottage with every needed amenity. So close to it all in downtown but far enough away in a quiet neighborhood. Will definitely be back when in town.

What a perfect cottage in the best location.

We had a lovely stay at the Baker Cottage. The cottage is adorable and tastefully decorated. It came with everything we expected and more! The cottage is in a great location with easy walking access to shops and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at this very cute cottage . Well appointed and we enjoyed the breakfast pastries! Walking distance to town and short drive to Rennigers! We will be going back!

We had a very nice stay, we had danish pastries waiting on us when we arrived. A quick walk to downtown Mount Dora/Donnellyville. Super nice neighborhood, it made us feel like it was home. We will be back again. William & Susie

Ideal Location !

The Bungalow provided all the comforts of home plus in walking distance of shops, cafes, village markets and weekday/weekend music entertainment. All inquiries/questions were immediately resolved.

Adorable and Comfy

This property was perfect for our small girls trip. The owners even left us some pastries for the morning. The beds were comfortable and the place was super cozy. It was decorated so cute. Check in was super easy and simple. Perfect for your weekend or week in Mt. Dora.

Nice Cozy Bungalow

This was the perfect place for two couples to stay. We walked to downtown on several occasions. About a 10 minute walk. (Be sure and go to Tony’s Chowder House.) The Bungalow was very clean and inviting. The host left 4 donuts in the kitchen under a dome for an extra surprise. The communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Adorable

We so enjoyed this adorable lil bungalow in Mt Dora. Quiet and keeps you just outside of the busy town but close enough to walk and enjoy the ample shops and restaurants when ready. Bed and sofa bed were very comfortable and had plenty supplies for bedding, bathroom and kitchen. Very clean and beautifully decorated. The only thing would be the back yard needs attention, so we were not able to enjoy that area with the beautiful weather we had. And for clarification, there is no hot tub. Thank you to the Host(s) and Def would stay again!

This was the first time we stayed in a VRBO. And, for a first time, this location made a great impression on us! It was the perfect place to stay in lovely Mt. Dora: 2 full bedrooms with comfortable beds, linens, and bedding; 2 full bathrooms with plenty of fluffy towels and great washing products: bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glassware, mugs, a huge refrigerator with cold water and ice dispensers, and a full freezer. There are a stove and oven, toaster oven, regular toaster, microwave. and dish towels. There are plenty of chairs by the kitchen table. There's also a nice size living room with a comfortable sofa and armchairs. The air conditioning is wonderful and works perfectly, which kept us cool and comfortable in the heat and high humidity of a Florida summer. Parking is quite convenient with ample space in the driveway for 2 cars. Oh, and there's a fine backyard/outdoor dining area, too. The neighborhood is not only very peaceful, but located within walking distance of downtown Mt. Dora and its great shops and many restaurants as well as its charming buildings. You can't go wrong staying in Bungalows on Baker 2/2. We highly recommend this VRBO and our gracious, helpful, and responsive host! If we have the good fortune to return to Mt. Dora for an overnight visit (in winter!), we hope we're fortunate enough to be able to stay here again!

Sweet Bungalow

This darling 2br 2bath Bungalow was the perfect place to stay during our short getaway to Mt. Dora. We had never been to the area and were so happy with our VBRO choice. It was walking distance to downtown shops, parks and restaurants. We watched pickle ball at the park and ate at Pisces Rising outside where they had live music, watched the sunset across the lake. Baker Bungalow was clean and well stocked with anything you need. Comfy bed (thank goodness not memory foam which my back hates). We especially appreciated the full length mirror, and magnification mirrors in the bathrooms, TV’s in the bedrooms with streaming. The Apple fritters were yummy and a nice treat from the owner. Be sure to go to the Best donut place in the area King donuts 🍩 they are sooo fresh❤️

Cozy Bungalow

This property has a great location in charming Mt. Dora. The backyard is perfect and includes a grill and fire pit. The house itself is suitable for a long weekend, but due to the lack of closet space and drawers, it was difficult to store our clothing. Kitchen was adequately equipped with 2 coffee makers and a blender, but some baking sheets, a hand mixer, and baking pans would have been a great addition. Upon arrival, we did find the house needed some additional cleaning attention and there were no supplies available. The property manager accepted our concerns but failed to follow through after we pointed out a large amount of dust and dirt under one of the beds. We liked the house and location very much, but it seemed like a “work in progress” that needed to be sped along.

Excellent stay!

We came in town for my son‘s wedding, and decided to stay in downtown Mount Dora as it’s one of our favorite places. The baker Street bungalow was the perfect choice. Easily walkable to downtown Mount Dora to shop and eat. We got to eat at some of our old favorite places like Los Palmas and Fiesta Grande. The check-in was so incredibly easy and any communication I had with the host was wonderful. I had a slight complication with one of the TVs (It was completely my fault) And Nancy got with me right away to resolve the issue. The house was the perfect size to accommodate my husband and I, and my father-in-law. The two bedroom and two bathrooms were well decorated and stocked, and had plenty of room for us. The living room served as a great place to hang out and watch the Olympics While we rested. When I return to this anrea again, I will certainly book this home.
