Higher Vibe is a newly remodeled classic flat-top near the Wright Brothers Monument in Kill Devil Hills. Featuring a King bedroom with private bath and a Queen bedroom with a hall bath, Higher Vibe is perfect for a small family or two couples. Enjoy a quiet evening playing games in the living room, or relax your worries away in the outside hot tub. The Hall Bath has a roll-in shower with a grab bar and there are no stairs in this home. Take a quick walk to the beach access directly at the end of the street or visit one of the many restaurants nearby.

It was a great little house. We really enjoyed the hot tub and it was nice having an ev charger at the house. It had everything we needed to have a great Thanksgiving holiday there. Beds were also comfortable.

Wonderful stay and great property! Clean and great amenities! Good communication from hosts with great instructions. Loved having a J1772 EV charger so didn’t have to worry about charging during the day. Good air circulation with dehumidifier, never felt stuffy! Amenity bag was thoughtful with dog bags and a frisbee as a great touch! Would absolutely stay again!

Perfect little getaway!

We had a wonderful vacation , this little home is perfect for a small family or little group of friends , it’s close to everything a short walk to the beach, kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking .And a hot tub for relaxing at night .Definitely will be booking this place again for our next trip☀️

Very Convenient to Beach, Overall Nice Cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Higher Vibe is in an ideal location, a very walkable 2 short blocks to the beach with direct beach access. The home was comfortable and clean with a well-stocked kitchen in terms of pots, pans, dishware, cutlery, etc. (One minor note: a pair of scissors would be a good addition). There was also a hot tub right outside the living room, although we didn't use it. Although the layout is a bit funky, it still works just fine. A/C works really fine, too, if you're hot-blooded! Also a perk: the 2 bathrooms (one with shower; one with tub) are newly renovated, which eliminated any "ick" factor that sometimes happens with older properties, even when they're clean. The only down points we could possibly mention are truly minor: better (updated) instructors for the TV would be helpful (it was opening weekend for college football and the setup didn't work well with our YouTubeTV subscription (NetFlix was great -- that is, if you're coming to the beach and needing to watch TV); and the very necessary dehumidifer (we owned a beach home in Texas and absolutely get it!) in the LR is super loud and cycles on/off constantly, so you find yourself yelling at each other over it, and/or constantly adjusting the TV volume up/down/up/down).The neighborhood was quiet -- even on a holiday weekend -- and the ability to bring our mini doodle made for a relaxing and joyful seaside weekend.
