A Great Vacation Spot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the third year we have rented this property. Previously we had rented the house next to this one but it was getting too small. Panacea is the perfect property for us. It is big enough to hold our extended family comfortably, is clean and well stocked and is has quick access to the beach directly across the street.

The place is always clean, very well equipped, with a great location for access to stores, restaurants, and the beach directly across the street. Elevator was a great help unloading and loading. Two easy beach access points across the road.Plenty of covered deck space plus the crows nest deck up top with great view of the ocean and the wright brothers memorial on the sound side.The foosball table downstairs was a big hit.Plenty of parking space for our 4 vehicles. Great location to get to stores, restaurants, etc.Only one negative - need to overhaul or replace the grill outback

AC distress

Spacious and well stocked. Beautifully decorated. Very noisy road traffic made hearing the ocean from the home impossible. The AC unit stopped working. We waited from tuesday til thursday before a man came out and could not fix it so they did install window units upstairs but we had already suffered two sleepless nights in the 80's.

Wonderful House for Special Needs People

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WOW! What a great house! We have been renting houses at OBX for the last 10 years, and this was, by far, our favorite. It was especially good for handicapped people. We had three special needs people in our group, and the elevator and special showers were very much appreciated. The kitchen table actually sat 12 people, which was very unusual to find. The kitchen was very well appointed, with lots of silverware, coffee cups, glasses, plates, etc. The bedrooms were large, and the beds were comfortable. Two fridges, one up and one down, were great too. A really wonderful house! We all loved it!

Family vacation 2022

This was our first time renting a house and we took both my immediate family and my husbands for the week. We had the best time! Included in our people was my grandma. The house was super accessible for her to go to all floors and showering. Walk to the beach wasnt bad at all. The crows nest view was the greatest! This house also had the best water pressure for showering compared to other places we have stayed and several people could be showering at once in different bathrooms and it was still fine. Would definitely recommend and will be booking with them again!

Beach gang

Being able to travel and enjoy the beach again was awesome! This location fit so many of our needs. When we had a pesky wasp trying to share the deck with us, your guys were there quickly and searched out the decks to find the nest and took care of the problem. What a blessing.

The owners have added quite a few extras to make your stay enjoyable. The kitchen is stocked very well for those who will be cooking and/or entertaining. Another nice feature about this house is there are plenty of bathrooms! Like many other reviews have said the traffic is constant, but it is generally during the day. It was quiet and peaceful at night. We will definitely stay here again.

Plenty of space for all 8 of us and the elevator was an added bonus when we were moving in and out. Local is great in proximity to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping as well. Beautiful house

The house was very homie, well stocked, very well cleaned. It has a shower outside for when you come from the beach. It needs some tlc here and there but nothing major. We let the rental company know, so hopefully that won’t be an issue for anybody else. Location is great, many amenities and stores around. Beware that most places close at around 9 pm so plan accordingly. The only draw back was the sometimes busy street right in front of the house. Overall we had a great time.
