Our home offers a quaint 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom living space. The private bedroom has a king-size bed with a large connected bathroom. The bedroom is equipped with Air Conditioning and a ceiling fan. Added bonus of an additional King Sofa Bed in the living room (it's even comfortable, no obnoxious bar in your back, we promise!). Let us know if you want to use the Sofa Bed, and we'll have it set up for you before you arrive. Also available upon request are 2 twin size floor cushions, great for kids to sleep on.

The open concept living room and kitchen are great for gathering. The kitchen offers a full-size refrigerator, hot plate, toaster oven, instant pot, rice cooker, Nespresso coffee maker, electric kettle, and more! Enjoy stunning views of the Ko'olau Mountain Range from the cozy lanai, great for relaxing. Equipped with a Smart TV, ceiling fan, and privacy shades for extra comfort.

Plenty of parking in the driveway and on the street. We are less than 15 minutes from Marine Corps Base Hawaii and just a 15-minute drive to famous Kailua Beach. This property is a duplex and is connected to the neighbor unit.

Perfect location

Great property, perfect location. Because of the location we were able to go to the beach everyday and visit family at night without a problem. Will stay again!

Amazing relaxing comfort home!

Amazing stay in this VRBO. We were on the island to get married in Kailua. Everything was a short 10-25 minute drive. Place was absolutely clean, and stocked to the max! We didn’t need much, but if we forgot something, you know it would be there! Next door tenants were noisy at times, but we grew to enjoy the piano playing lol! Overall a great trip, would recommend to all our family and friends!

Working break engagement celebration

The space itself great, everything worked. Bed was comfy and parking was great. Close to local shops. The only major issue is only a drywall separated us from tenants who played piano and not well most of the day and into the night had numerous visitors and noise till later at night.

Hi Karen, we're glad you enjoyed the space, comfy bed, and parking. We're sorry that the noise was bothersome to your stay. As mentioned in our listing, this property is a duplex, which means it is connected to the neighbor unit via an interior wall. There is actually higher than normal insulation in the living room wall to help with the noise from both units. When you reached out on 11/27, we shared your feedback with our tenants on Thanksgiving Day. They were VERY apologetic and said they would be more mindful of being quiet after 9pm (Hawaii law quiet hours are 10pm-7am) and asked that we let them know when any noise from them became disruptive, and they would remedy it immediately. I passed that information on to you and never heard back about any additional complaints after 11/26. Had you told us that the noise had continued, I would have passed that along to our tenants. As for the many visitors, you were staying there during Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend, which means they likely had guests for the holidays, which is permissible.

excellent stay!

Cozy, extremely well equipped, instruction book was clear and detailed. French press had a loose handle which fell off the second morning--no way to put it back together. We left both parts. We appreciated the laundry, enjoyed the lenaii, bedroom AC was welcome. Some guidance on local restaurants would have been helpful, but not essential. We would happily book the property again.

We loved our stay here! The location was central to the things we wanted to do. The neighborhood was peaceful and pleasant for walks. We found everything we needed for cooking, even a waffle iron! Thank you for providing this "real Hawaii" alternative to the hotels.
