This place was amazing, nice quiet neighborhood, nice sized fenced in backyard, the house was extremely clean and comfortable when we come back to vermillion for a long weekend again I hope this place is available oh yea it’s only a few minutes from downtown

Our stay was perfect! Very clean property and newly redone. The owner was very responsive for check-in and out. The location was great and only a mile or so from Main Street. Would stay here again.

July 4th visit

We had a great stay & Alaina was very responsive. The house had a well stocked kitchen & a great private backyard for our dog, a little too sunny for most of the day, but great shade in late afternoon. An umbrella might be an easy fix.It is in a quiet neighborhood, but we were having a family reunion in Linwood & this was a quick 5 minute drive to downtown or grocery.We will be back!

Cleveland Trip

We were told Vermilion was a cute town near Cleveland. The property was perfect in this town. Great size for our three adults. We especially loved the blankets and fireplace on cold evenings. Cozy, cute and great location.

Wonderful rental

Highly recommend this rental! The house was beautiful inside and very clean. They had everything you needed and the checkin/check out process was extremely easy. The house was even ready early for check in which was very helpful having driven long distances with a small child. The location was perfect to where it was a quick drive to the shops in vermillion and the lake. The host was wonderful and quick to respond to any questions I had and checked in throughout our trip. We would definitely stay at this location when we visit again.

Just what I needed

Wanted to stay somewhere safe and close to home. Came across this gem, and I immediately booked. The owner thought of everything and had nice touches throughout. When I said I was bringing my pup, she ensured dog bowls were out as well as a toy. Dog loved the fenced in yard (as did I, as it was pretty chilly, so I didn’t have to walk her). Great communication with owner, and I could really tell she truly cared about how my stay was going. My best friend of 50 years was staying at her daughter’s house down the street while closing on her condo, so we got to relive the fun of being able to walk to each other’s house! LOL

Very impressed

We stayed 2 nights here at this house. We will be back again in the future. Communication was amazing. She was very understanding of my situation and accommodating of our needs. House was beautiful and very clean. Very nice and quiet neighborhood.

This location is easy access from the highway. We stayed for a night and convenient. Fenced yard but very small dog could go under. Enjoyed nearby shopping, near lake on our way out. Suggest extra light to see lock box if arriving at night. With Expedia I have trouble locating access code for check in. Check out was made easier by owner byt having informaton for house and area in a folder.

Just like home

We had a wonderful time staying here. Alaina was the most attentive host I have ever had. We were staying in town for a family event, brought our kids and dogs. She even accommodated our request for an early check in. Everything was met to our expectations. We received a check in every day just to make sure everything was met to our needs and if there was anything else that was needed. Above and beyond! We will be saying here again.

The house was extremely neat and tidy with a well-outfitted kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. Close to lots of great things to do. Host is an excellent communicator with wonderful attention to detail.

Weekend Stay

Our family stayed here while in town for a wedding. We loved our stay! The place was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was great. The host was very quick to respond to any questions and was always available. I would recommend this place if you are in the area!!

Awesome place in a wonderful town

This is a beautiful, clean home. We traveled with our cat, Frankie, and he settled in immediately. Home is exactly as described and then some. Really beautiful. We were close enough to the beach and downtown, as well as Paper Moon Winery, yet enjoyed a quiet neighborhood. Host very reponsive. Will definitely return. BW

Fabulous find

The house is very comfortable, finished to a high standard and very clean. It was perfect for our mini vacation in Vermilion with our dog. The outdoor fenced yard was ideal for the dog and afforded privacy for when we sat outside. The house is located in a residential area, just over a mile walk to the down town area. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in Vermilion, including several dog friendly places. All in all we had a very relaxing time and loved staying at the house.

In 2023, we purchased a cozy cottage in Vermilion, OH just 3 min away from the Lake Erie shoreline and bustling downtown. Our goal is to take what we've come to love about staying in VRBOs and pair that with what we love about this charming lakefront town to create a 5-star experience for our guests. Our cottage is located in a quiet residential neighborhood near Vermilion High School and conveniently located just 1 mile away from water access and the bustling downtown.

The closest water access is the Vermilion Boat Launch (3 mins away by car) and the nearest beach is Main Street Beach (5 mins away by car). There's also a plethora of other water access points and beaches within a 10-minute radius of the cottage.

Within a walkable, half-mile of the house, you'll find the Vermilion Community Pool (seasonal, outdoor), the Vermilion YMCA, the Vermilion Skate Park, the Vermilion Elementary School playground, and more.

Favorite restaurants in the area include The Pavilion Grille, the Woodstock, Brewed Awakening, and Granny Joe's Ice Creamatorium -- all of which are approximately 1 mile from the cottage.

There is a Giant Eagle grocery store 1.9 miles away and a Rite Aid pharmacy 1.5 miles away.
