Reverie is the perfect jumping-off point to explore mountain life! It’s just five minutes to Black Rock Mountain State Park and The Foxfire Museum and 10 minutes from the charming shops and farm-to-table restaurants of Clayton and Dillard. Just a little further away, you’ll find Lake Burton and Lake Rabun and Tallulah Gorge State Park! It’s truly an outdoor-adventurer’s dream!

With vaulted wood ceilings, this light-filled cabin is dog-friendly with a fenced-in backyard.** Decorated with local art, quilts, and books, it has comfortable places to relax inside and out, such as the covered back porch with string lights. There’s a gas-log fireplace inside and a fire pit outside.

The master bedroom features wood ceilings, as well as an en-suite bathroom. It’s spacious, and also has a dedicated work space if needed. ** Please note that there is a per-visit $100 pet fee with a two-dog maximum. When requesting to book, select the box that you are bringing a pet and this will generate the fee—and let us know that you are. Thanks!

We had an absolutely delightful stay and would definitely come back! The accommodations were lovely, everything we could possibly need was available, it was spotless and beautifully decorated (I loved the art). The location was very private yet there was a neighborhood feel, so I was able to feel secure walking—in addition to taking advantage of many nearby hikes. Loved it!

If visiting Clayton, this is a great place to stay! The location is convenient to everything Clayton, and the outdoors have to offer. The cabin was clean. Had everything we needed. Is quiet and peaceful. When we visit Clayton again, this is where we stay!

Beautiful stay in the woods!

Loved our weekend getaway in the mountains. House was easy to find and well-furnished. Our dogs loved the fenced in back yard, and we loved sitting out back to enjoy the quiet. We had an easy time cooking in the kitchen, loved the porch set-up. It is a great location, easy to get to some great hikes.

Peaceful and cool

We wanted to escape the heat and noise of fireworks back home. We were able to relax with our pups. They especially loved the cooler temps and the fenced backyard.

Great stay at Black Rock

The house was in a great location for exploring Black Rock Mountain. While the weather was not the best, the house offered plenty of room and 2 covered porches to play games and wait out of the rain. The fenced in yard was a bonus for our dog while we were out exploring the town of Clayton. We would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful getaway! Nestled in the quietness of the woods, but yet, close to nearby attractions, waterfalls, parks and restaurants! Great accommodations.

What a beautiful home in the mountains. Home was very clean. Access into home and about home was very clear. Pet friendly with a fenced in yard. But was totally deep in the mountain. Our dog loved exploring all around home. We were thankful we had a truck but we did see a few cars going up the mountains too. Gravel dirt roads but maintained well. Everything about the home was great.

We are building in the area and came to check on progress. This house was perfectly nestled in the woods, great area for our dog, had all the amenities, and beautifully decorated and comfortable.

Enjoyed our time

We enjoyed our visit, the cabin was spotless and well maintained. The fenced in backyard was fantastic for our two dogs. The area surrounding the cabin was full of hiking trails and nature.

Peaceful Mountain Stay

The cabin was perfect for our stay. The location was ideal: quiet, peaceful with a fantastic backporch and fenced in yard. Wonderful decorative touches to add whimsy, comfort and enjoyment.

Great, relaxing stay!

We had a great stay. Checkin procedure was easy to follow and everything was clean and as described. After a mistake on our part, Maureen was easy to communicate with and worked with us to book a last minute extra night. We would stay again!

We were very pleased with the cottage. It was spotless and well kept. We enjoyed the porch surrounded by a beautiful wooded area. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was exactly what we needed. Restful stay

The stay was very relaxing. We enjoyed the quietness. The location was somewhat secluded in the woods on the mountain. The only update I would say is to indicate that due to its location the roads can be difficult to navigate after dark.
