We had a great time!

This house is in a great location, it’s got everything we needed, and we used every part of it! The basement was perfect for our teen crew! We loved the fire pit, kayaks, and games. Roberta was super easy to work with - very helpful for any little hiccup. Thanks :)

We stayed at this beautiful property for my bachelorette wellness retreat, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is stunning, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We loved kayaking on the lake, relaxing in the hot tub, grilling delicious skewers, and ending the nights around the cozy fire pit.It was the ideal setting to unwind, laugh, and create unforgettable memories with my closest friends. Truly an amazing place for any special gathering with friends or family. Can’t recommend it enough!

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful home on the water with spacious decks and kayaks. Plenty of space and fun for a family of all ages. Short and easy drive to St. Joe’s beach and restaurants.

A trip to remember!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The property was spacious and allowed us to be all together for meals and games with a bonus space for kids to bond and play. Roberta was very responsive and even checked on us when there was a storm. We enjoyed the beautiful beaches close by and fishing right outside on the St. Joseph River. We set one day aside to just enjoy the property. We barbecued, played games, and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Fun was had and memories to treasure were made! We will be back!

Beautiful Weekend Getaway

This property was very clean inside and had all the amenities. It was very spacious and there was plenty of room for our group of 7 to hangout. The river was nice and the views in the house were great. There was a hefty cleaning fee and we were still required to do most of the work during checkout. Additionally, the deck area was unusable due to debris from the trees. All of the deck chairs and furniture were covered and we couldn’t even walk on the deck in bare feet. The host advised we could uncover them but the deck itself was covered in debris so we didn’t even want to use them. All in all the stay was great, but given the price for the stay, we expected the outdoor spaces to be prepped for our arrival and usable. We would stay again but the outdoor space needed more prep work from the host.

Excellent family-friendly vacation spot! Our family of 12 thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, the kayaks, firepit and hours of meals on the deck over the river. Kitchen was well supplied with all the cookware we needed to cook and grill every meal for the week. There is a Meijer and Walmart less than 10 minutes away. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with lots of privacy in the back.The beach is a short 15 min drive away and is perfect for families with children. Only 15 to park (or free if you can find one on the street nearby), the beach has lifeguards, volleyball nets, a playground, a splash pad, food stand and clean bathrooms.Wifi in the house is good but a little weak on the deck. Beds were on the firm side for our taste but comfortable enough. There are lots of stairs in the house and back yard so may be hard for older adults. We did have a toddler so we brought gates with us. Lots of comfortable deck seating on each level. Plenty of parking (we had 4 cars with no problem).The owners were very friendly, quick to respond, and easy to work with. They even supplied a crock pot when I asked for it.Excellent, well kept VRBO. Highly recommend for a larger group that is looking for a place to spend lots of quality time together. Plenty to do but also lots of space to not be on top of each other.
