This charming compound is less than two hours from Chicago and sits on 1+ acres at the end of a long, quiet driveway. It’s the perfect location to enjoy Michigan spring, summer & fall activities and gorgeous unobstructed views of Lake Michigan sunsets.
The property boasts a 3-br/2-ba main home as well as a detached, open-floorplan 1-br/1-ba guest home.
This property is IDEAL for a family getaway. Pack-N-Play, slumberpod, infant/toddler high chair, toddler booster dining seat, infant and toddler bathtubs, toddler tricycle stroller, inflatable kids pool, kids dinnerware (plates, bowls, cups, silverware) and toddler indoor/outdoor toys included.
The guest house is a fully independent living space that provides grandparents / friends / travel partners / nannies / au pairs with their own space & privacy. The guest house also works as an office for families looking for an easy “Work From Anywhere” scenery change.
Most furniture / furnishings are BRAND NEW in 2021.
Whether you're looking to relax indoors or explore the surrounding beauty, Vista Michigana offers the perfect blend of comfort and adventure. (*Please note there is no beach access from the property. Beaches are a 5-10min DRIVE north and south. It is not recommended to try to walk to the beach.)

Great family lake house with breathtaking sunset views

My wife and I rented this beautiful home with our three girls (ages 3 to 9). The home was clean, spacious, and well furnished, with plenty of toys to keep the kids occupied. The sunset views were incredible. We will definitely rent it again in the future.

Wonderful, As Usual!

The main house and guest house are both comfortable and well equipped. The screened in porch in the main house is great and we used it a lot. The yard is large and allowed our group to play two different games at one time. The view is perfect!

Great family trip!

We loved our stay on Evergreen Lane. The house and guest house allows you to break into groups that would like more privacy than you would find in the main house. The kitchen, appliances and grill were great. Our views were outstanding and neighbors on both sides were very kind and friendly. We loved the screen porch too. Five star vacation for our group!

It made an unforgettable weekend even better!

The view of Lake Michigan was like a postcard — especially the sunsets. The house and guest house worked out perfectly for our family and parents. The amenities we just as described. And even the neighbors were so personable to our folks. I wish we would have had more time to just enjoy the home rather than be so busy with our family wedding, but maybe we can visit another time in the future. Thank you!

Wonderful!

This property was as described. We had a wonderful time. The large screened in porch had lots of seating and a dining table - we spent a lot of time in there. The guest house was perfect for our brother and his wife. The yard space was great for our grand-daughters. Sweeping views of the lake from both in the house and the back yard. We made s’mores at the fire pit with wood provided. The neighbors were very friendly. Location was within 10 minutes of both St. Joseph and Benton Harbor for many good restaurants and shops. Multiple beautiful beaches all within 10 minutes.

Beautiful Views, Sun sets a d close to town

My family and I had an amazing time here! We were very happy with our choose to call home for a few days! It was sich a calming ocean feel home and bonus guest house for inlaws to have their owe space. The entire house was great but the master bedroom in the main house was the best! with all the windows and cool doors that opened to the lower season dinning area was amazing. When the AC wasnt on all window were open! The cross breeze was amazing!!! The view are beath taking and if you have a strom the lightning over the lake is pretty cool too! They had it all! The location was close to town, enjoyed the farmers markets etc! We will be back next year.

Relaxing Family Vacation

The pictures of the property do not do it justice. Beautiful view of the lake. Watched the sunset on the lake each night from the backyard. My husband and I along with our four adult children stayed in the main house while my parents slept in the guest house across the driveway. House had so many extras--cleaning products, shampoo, paper towels, etc. Everything we needed to cook meals. Beach chairs & towels. Less than 5 minutes to Rocky Gap for beach access. About 10 minutes south to St. Joseph/Silver Beach--lots of restaurants (Schu's, Kilwins, Papa Vinos, Clementines, etc). 20 minutes north to South Haven for more shopping/restaurants. Overall, a wonderful vacation and a wonderful place to stay!

Awesome getaway for our two families!

I am very picky about where my family stays and poured over SO MANY property listings. We were going to be vacationing with our friends and their kids so it had to be just right-- and it was! Our initial impressions were beyond positive. It's rare, but the photos don't do the property its justice. It was FAR better than what we were expecting. The "2nd house" was HUGE and the perfect place for our teenagers to stay. The main house was upscale and perfectly appointed. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into the amenities-- they had everything! Fans, stuff for kids/babies, games, music, fully stocked kitchen-- the works. The view off the backyard is breathtaking. You literally look DOWN to watch the birds. Its like being in a dream. We took chairs to the edge and just sat there, watching and taking in the peace. Sunsets were another favorite activity for our group. The drive into St. Joe is quick and convenient. This was probably our 10th time visiting the area, and we got spoiled with this property. It's a great location and everything is just a short drive away. We would recommend this property to anyone. You will love it!

Great Family Vacation

This house was perfect for our family with 6 adults and 2 toddlers. Plenty of room, (the guesthouse was fantastic also), and all the supplies and even toys we’d ever need. The view of Lake Michigan is beautiful! It was just a great experience all the way around.

Gorgeous house with amazing view

We just returned from a long weekend stay here with another family and had the best time. Would definitely return. The home is gorgeous and has everything we needed. We loved the screen porch, it was amazing to sit out there and watch the storms roll in off the lake. Property is huge, the teens loved the guest house, and there was more than enough space for everyone. We will definitely return. It felt like the middle of nowhere it was so peaceful. But only 5 min to a great beach, and 10 min to St Joe.

Space for all~

We had 2 families stay at this location. Having 2 separate living spaces was fantastic! The yard was great for the kids to run and play. Amazing sunsets on Lake Michigan

These homes and property were absolutely beautiful! The main house was perfect for our adult children and the guest house was a wonderful getaway from our getaway for my husband and I. It was a quick and easy drive to all of the places we visited. However, one of the best things about this stay were the amazing sunsets from the edge of the cliff in the backyard overlooking Lake Michigan! Perfect weekend on the lake

My husband, 2 kids and I spent an extended post Labor Day weekend at this property with my parents and my brother’s family. The weather definitely cooperated, but I think we would have loved the house and the views regardless! We enjoyed being close to St Joe and South Haven and being able to retreat to a more private residence to relax. The house was very comfortable with lots of little amenities like yard games and kids toys. My favorite moments involved sitting in the screened in porch looking out at the lake. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Lake House

We truly enjoyed our weekend getaway. The Evergreen Lane Lake House was perfect for 2 families with grown children. From the well stocked kitchen to the beach items, we had everything we needed.
