Great location and great price!

The space was very quiet which was nice as we had our one year old son with us. We will definitely stay there again.

Small things could go a long way. We had a issue with the toilet but that was taken care of very quickly.....good job.

Reviewer Comments: We checked into our room and the main door was so loose light was coming around it. The balcony door would not lock. That night I went to shower and there was no hot water. The breaker in the room had tripped, thankfully my husband found it, as there was never an attendant around. Very disappointing and VERY unsafe!!

Reviewer Comments: The location was great!! I'd stay here again. The place is older and shows it's wear. I had no interaction with any staff if any issue I'm not sure how good communication would have been. I arrived early and my door code worked at that time. The door and lock was very questionable one good kick and anyone could enter. I was solo but felt safe here even with my door concerns. Place was clean just older and well used. I was able to park in a covered spot close to elevator over all great stay qnd would return.

Don't stay in room 311

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dirty room, rug was never vacuumed, still had items on floor. While looking for outlets discovered a small beach ball behind living room TV and articles of clothing behind headboard on floor which proves this room was not prepared for our stay. Fireplace rug was torn at the edges. The refrigerator was not working, so I moved it out to see if it was plugged in, what a mistake, what a mess back there. There was no info about anything in the condo as far as circuit breaker needing to be flipped on to run refrigerator. Chandelier over the little kitchen table had bulbs and glass shades missing. The chairs itself were all scraped up where there once was paint. Was a little unsettling not having management on the property to deal with issues. The woman who was there all-day cleaning pool, etc, was very helpful and working very hard. The location was excellent, which basically was the only good thing about the condo. This room needs extensive cleaning and upgrades. I actually have pictures of this room, but no way to include them here. STAY AWAY from room 311 !!!!

Discrepancies no water pressure in bathroom sink wall paper pealing everywhere headboard made it where you lost your pillow plugs with no covers pots and cups stank soda machines down below did not work.great pool but closed at 10 so any adults being out and about all day couldn't use it.construction on other rooms began early disturbing our sleep. Love the key pad idea.stains throught the room under couch cushions walls did not feel clean. Fire alarm for the room is under the counter in a cabinet. Not clean not safe. Not worth what I paid for the room. And am sorry to say I will not be recommending your rooms to anyone.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Needs updated. Furniture was in poor shape.(broken &/or very worn). The sofa was worn and the matress on ot was absolutely horrible. My daughter pnly slept on it the first night. towels for 4 people for 4 days. No office on sight. No extra trash bags, not even a full roll of toilet paper. Inside lower cabinet was very dirty. No bowls and pan needed to be thrown away. Someone had burnt something so bad in it that I could even ship out the black stuff. Location was perfect. Overall, it was clean.

You can see light around it. Kitchen burners not right. Scared to try to use them. And just some over all work on walls etc. it was clean and great location . Our previous rentals at Oak Square have been through VRBO and all on the 2nd floor and all were very nice. This time we rented through . Don't know if this one, on the 3rd floor was individually owned or owned by the property but it was no where near kept up as nice as previous rentals. Wallpaper peeling in several places, Very few pots, pans, one glass, few utensils, 2 towels, couch was nasty looking, and the whole place was in dire need of upgrading. For almost $600 for 3 nights I expect better

The condo was great and what we needed for out getaway! Yes it is a little dated and could be a little cleaner/fresher but overall was perfect for our stay, we just slept and showered there!

We took my inlaws for the weekend and when the opened the pull out bed popcorn spilled out of it, there were no pillows for it either. Bathroom was also dirty and floors didn’t look like they’d ever been vacuumed. The location was nice but that was the only thing that is a positive for oak square!

Anniversary Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Oak Square is in a great location to downtown Gatlinburg! It is also close to the Smokies and bypass. We did a lot of walking since traffic was crazy the time of year we went. The facilities as a whole were clean and well maintained for an older building. Our room was a little outdated but comfortable. For the great price we paid I can’t really complain! I would stay here again. The cleaning staff just needs to check under the bed and furniture for trash, we found a half eaten cookie and a couple of wrappers that weren’t ours. Overall I would give Oak Square 4 out of 5 stars!
