About this space
Artfully-decorated gingerbread cottage with wraparound screen porch, nestled in private setting on beautifully-landscaped Nocoart villa grounds. Spacious cathedral ceiling living room with adjoining kitchen. Bedroom on upper floor with king bed. 5 min. drive to less-traveled, most beautiful beaches on the island--all in gated community. Magnificent art studio of renowned island painter on the villa grounds. Surprise sculptures in gardens for the curious. Lovely pool. Romantic, quiet, different.

The space -
Cottage is newly offered for vacation rental. It was the former full-time residence for 20 years of Nocoart villa's owner and artist. Classic Caribbean design. Ideal for a couple. Wraparound screen porch with two Adirondack chairs sit astride entrance for chilling, after day at the beach; dining table on right porch with six Paris bistro chairs for dinner guests; armoire on left porch for shoes, beach stuff. Enter main door of cottage to cathedral ceiling living room. Corner on right has built-in desk workspace to stay connected with high speed optic fiber-fed WiFi. Spacious main seating area with leather couch, upholstered arm chairs, coffee table. Leads into gourmet kitchen with built-in bar and high-back chairs. To left, bathroom with mosaic-tiled shower, wash basin. Stairs off living room to bedroom on second floor. King bed with side tables, custom built by local woodworker. Luxurious, super-comfortable mattress. Dresser and clothing hangar racks on one side of room, desk and chair on other side. Original paintings and drawings by owner and other island artists adorn wall space throughout the cottage. Guests have access (20 meters via garden path) to the villa's lovely pool with chaise lounges and chairs. Ample parking.

Two steps up to wraparound screen porch. From there all on one level except bedroom on second floor. There is stone path from parking area to cottage.

- High speed internet (fiber optic cable) ideal for digital nomads.
- Washing machine available in central villa utility room near pool.
- We will provide keys and clicker (for front gate access to property).
- Robust air cool and climate control.
- Art studio available on request in advance.

Propietario/a: Norma Trimborn
I am an abstract painter and love to express myself through my art. Originally from Germany, I came to Saint-Martin 20 years ago to escape the rat race in NYC, hoping to find peace and tranquility while I pursued my art. I custom-built the cottage you'll call home for your stay in St. Martin. Later, I built and created my art studio on the other side of the property, where I paint and organize art exhibitions.
