Cute and convenient

The house was in a really convenient location for a visit to the Kentucky horse park- 3 turns and a 10 minute drive- super easy! Everything is close- groceries, restaurants, pharmacies, hospital all within a mile. Downtown Georgetown is easy to get to as well. The house was very cutely decorated and had a small fenced in yard for the dog. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to hang out. Two bathrooms made getting ready in the morning easy. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive.

KHP location was perfect

Quiet, private and comfortable. Fully stocked with the amenities needed to make our stay a pleasant experience. Location is perfect for caring for horses at the Kentucky Horse Park and minutes from food, grocery etc. Wish we had more time to enjoy the deck and fire pit. Will book again in the future!

The property was so cute and in a great neighborhood. A few repairs are needed, but nothing major. Overall fairly clean. Cute kitchen area and great living room space

Just okay

The property is pretty much as described and the owner is very responsive. The issue is that maintenance wasn't kept up with. In general the place was not very clean. Couldn't open the couch bed and there were still old linens stuck in it. The owner told us she had a new cleaner last week. Some of the dirt is much older than that, though. Many doors don't open or close properly because they're out of plumb or the floor is uneven. The kids liked the TV in every room.

Slow draining

We really enjoyed the house and it was very clean. We did have a problem with one of the bathroom drains was hoping Our host would send someone over to fix it. She just thanked us for letting her know and she would let her maintenance man know. That was a bit frustrating since we were there five nights. Also be prepared the kitchen has nothing but salt and pepper and no mixing bowls or saran wrap foil. None of that so if you are planning on cooking be prepared otherwise very nice house.

This home is poorly maintained and dirty. To start, the outlets in both bathrooms do not work. We could not use the blow dryer or curling irons in the bathroom. Also, the sink in the master bathroom was clogged and black stuff was coming up from the drain. Inside the kitchen cabinets were dirty with crumbs and dust. You could not open one of the drawers in the kitchen because the stove blocked it. The vent on the floor between the back 2 bedrooms was caved in like someone had stepped on it. The keurig was so dirty that it would not heat the water. My husband finally got it working after soaking it and running boiling hot water through it to clean out the gunk. There is no ice maker or ice trays in the fridge. All of this said, when the owner was notified of these issues, she made no attempt to take care of it. She only replied that a plumber and electrician would be out Monday and thanked us for letting her know. Also, the house smelled like pets and there were cobwebs in the corner of the back bedroom and on the baseboards of the master bedroom. Linens (not sure if they were clean or dirty) were wadded up in the closet. The house does have potential if those things would be addressed and it was maintained properly.

Home is in a clean and quiet neighborhood. It is close to a ton of businesses and activities. We stayed while attending a nearby convention but found plenty to enjoy in this town as well. Host was very responsive and the home was clean and working properly aside from a couple of minor issues in the bathrooms. I would most certainly stay here again and recommend to anyone else interested.
