Morning of check in you received a text message with all check in instructions you should have also received directly from VRBO, that included the gate code. The text was sent to the number you put on your profile. I apologize if you did not receive the message. The parking pass goes through the security on site. Had I been aware they didn't respond I would have taken care of reaching out to them myself on your behalf. Guests tend to not take their shoes off at the entry way and the carpet does cover all main traffic areas but we do clean them after every stay. Hope otherwise your stay was enjoyable! Unfortunately we do not have commercial AC units that hotels and grocery stores use so when temperatures are over 110 with extra humidity the AC can only work so much when it’s trying to cool a space over 40 degrees cooler than outside temperatures. This is something you have to keep in mind when traveling to the desert in the summer time. It is very very HOT here. The inside temperature for the guest prior to your stay was 75 and it was 75 when I went in there after you checked out so the unit is working as it is supposed to be. I did take a picture of the thermostat clearly showing the temperature. Due to that I could not give you a refund for a problem that didn’t exist. We have also had multiple stays after you and no one has complained that the AC isn’t cooling properly. I’m sorry your stay wasn’t what you hoped but again if you are going to travel to the desert when it’s over 100 degrees you need to expect it to be hotter than you are most likely used to.
