Esta casa frente al mar de 4 dormitorios es la escapada familiar perfecta. Situado en una pequeña comunidad de playa entre Southampton y Sag Harbor, que está rodeada de agua - desde el comedor se mira derecho fuera en un lago sereno, desde el primer piso se puede ver tanto el lago y la playa. ¿Quién necesita una piscina cuando estás a sólo unos pasos de una playa de la bahía bien cuidado con zona marcada de natación y una plataforma de baño, así como un fácil 10-15 minutos en coche de las principales playas de Southampton a Molino de agua y Sag Harbor.

Lo más probable es - una vez allí, usted no querrá dejar este estilo, agradable, ventoso, y lleno de sol cabaña de playa. Tiene su propio muelle con hamaca y patio al aire libre, un vallado en el patio (que mantiene a los perros y los niños en la bahía). La planta principal de la casa está renovada con gabinetes de cocina nuevos, pisos y ducha / baño. Petra’s Southampton property is a true gem. Situated directly on the water, it offers fantastic views, relaxation and tranquility. The open floor plan allows for seamless gathering and plenty of light. The home is super comfortable, clean and is perfectly set up to accommodate all your needs. Petra is an extremely welcoming and responsive host, making our stay that much better. We would love to return.

We stayed at this lovely home four years ago and not much has measured up with summer rentals since then, so we returned! The location is fabulous - pond with private dock out the back door, bay beach across the street out the front door. Hosts are very communicative, welcoming and helpful. This stay in particular they went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience.

My family and I spent two months at this beach home and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Floor plan is open and well layed out and the waterway and dock is a great bonus for any boater. Water-view is fabulous. For anyone needing more than two bedrooms, bedrooms 3-5 are very small and are really equipped for small children. The owner was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. We hope to rent this home again in the future.

Peaceful oasis in the midst of natural beauty

Petra's house is as beautiful as it is relaxing. It has everything you or your family could need for a comfortable stay. It is right on a pond in view of a family of ospreys, and has a kayak and paddleboard available for the adventurous. The house is also about 100 yards from a beautiful beach in the bay where my kids hunted for shells every day and looked out for cottontail rabbits that lived nearby. Petra herself was wonderful, communicative and eager to ensure that our trip went smoothly and that we were not at a loss for ideas of what to do. There was no noise from the neighbors; only the welcome songs of birds every once in a while. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Presidents Day weekend get away

I recently rented this lovely house for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic time. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed (large kitchen, board games, tv, fire place) with everything my family needed. The owner was very communicative and responsive, making the booking process a breeze. I particularly enjoyed drinking coffee on the stone patio overlooking the water every morning, and taking our dog on walks at the nearby dog friendly beach (5 min walk) The house is located close to many great restaurants, both budget friendly, and higher end diner dining and centrally located to visit all the towns in the Hamptons. I would highly recommend this rental house to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The owner was great to work with, and the house exceeded my expectations in every way. I can't wait to come back and visit again!

Great to be directly on the water and with a nice yard

We enjoyed spending 3 nights at the property and Petra was very good at checking in with us during our stay. The property is kept nice and clean, the rooms are a little on the small side but the living room and dining room spaces are the highlights. The views are beautiful and we love the visiting swans in the morning. It was too cold to swim, so we didn’t get to enjoy the dock and the paddle boards, but looks like it would be a lot of fun in the summer.

Wonderful Southampton Getaway!

Our family had a wonderful vacation in Southampton, and the home was perfectly located to enjoy lots of activities that the area had to offer! Everyone was very nice and accommodating and it was just a great way to end our summer. Our favorite feature was the large dining room table facing the lake. It provided a perfect, scenic gathering place for our family for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and game nights. We enjoyed walking out to the beach and just skipping rocks or just having time to reflect. Petra was very helpful throughout the booking process and during the week of our stay, pointing us to really good spots to go to (eg, beach, restaurants) and making sure everything was ok. We had great peace of mind knowing that she was just a call away. The only thing that would've made our stay better was to have had access to another shower inside or direct access to the outdoor shower from inside the home. As described in the property description, there was a tub upstairs, which was a nice add for the nights that one of us wanted to relax in the tub, but we didn't realize that it wasn't also a shower.

Ideal relaxed family get away

We were delighted with the home and its location. Its relaxed welcoming adults and kids comfortably. The outdoor space on the pond is ideal for morning coffee and evening grilling while the Bay is just steps away for perfect swimming, paddle boarding and picnic or sunset cocktails at the bay beach. Outdoor shower a wonderful topper to each day!! We will be back - thanks Petra!

Lovely summer vacation, also perfect for children

We spent wonderful 10 days in this cozy quiet home. We enjoyed the fully equipped house and its nice "European style" decoration. The private dock offering direct access to the water and the stand-up paddle were loved by our kids. Short walk to the beach and a short ride to the sandy beaches at the ocean completed a perfect holiday. We will come again.

Beautiful home in an incredible location

We spent a week with 4 children from the age of 4 to age 7 and 4 adults. All fit comfortably with room to spare. The house is beautiful and every detail thought of to make for an amazing, comfortable stay. The beachfront location could not be beat and the beach is quiet and does not get crowded. Petra is a wonderful host, gave great suggestions and was always available for questions. Will definitely be coming back here!

Perfect Location & Comfy, Open Living

We had a tremendous two 1/2 weeks in Southampton at this spacious beach house. It was a perfect family house that accomodated our two active children, both inside and out. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach across the street, as well, as the restful sitting area close to the dock with table, chairs, and hammock. The MBR was unique with its full sky light and the big bathroom on the second floor was our favorite place to soak up the last rays of the sunset at the end of a sun-filled day. Thank you to the gracious family that rents this house. It is well-kept and the owners couldn't have been more accomodating! I hope we return soon.

Oasis on the Bay!

We had the wonderful opportunity to stay at this home last September. It is ideally located at the edge of Sag Harbor on a beautiful inlet that leads to the Bay. A one minute walk across the street also leads you to the beach of the Bay where the sunsets are amazing! The house is clean and neat with an open, airy feeling. The kitchen is well supplied and recently re-modeled (as well as the bathroom). If you’re looking for a special spot in the Hamptons, this is it!

Great Family Vacation

I have very fond memories of our family stay (2 kids, 2 parents and a nanny) at this inviting and beautiful summer place in July I didn't quite know what to expect ... when we got there I realized that this is just about one of the most convenient locations in the Hamptons. Convenient in that you have a calm swimming water right in front of your door step, convenient in that you are right at the beginning of the Hamptons off of less frequented Noyak Road so you are saving yourself hours of traffic on highway 27, convenient in that I could get to any of the big Hamptons ocean beaches within 15 minutes (again avoiding Route 27), and very convenient in that I actually didn't have to do much of that at all since none of my family members wanted to leave this wonderful setting. We were so self-sufficient and spent most days around the house - swimming in the bay, biking on quiet paths, playing on the small jungle gym, kicking the balls around, fishing for minnows etc etc. And I could let my kids run around freely, since the entire property is fenced in and protected. I miss those gorgeous summer nights - sitting outside on the flagstone porch right by the deck and watching the stars reflect in the water. We BBQed pretty much every night. I also miss those adorable sleeping quarters for the kids. Only a caring family can come up with a design like this - wooden sliding windows in between the kids' rooms make for great and efficient bedtime reading! And the kitchen has pretty much all the gadgets you can hope for.

Impeccable hm, beautiful views, idyllic ambiance

Our family has enjoyed multiple visits to this gorgeous property. On the last visit in May, we shared time between the private community beach (20 paces away) and private dock (part of the property). Gorgeous ambiance with state of the art amenities. It essentially has 5 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, 2 closed door rooms on the 1st floor, as the TV room can be converted. Beautiful great central room with kitchen access where the family congregates. Also a gorgeous indoor sun room with large dining table for everyone to dine while enjoying the water views. Great big grass lawn for kids to play as well as fencing to keep everyone safe. Idyllic views and star-gazing on the dock-side outdoor dining table. 1 mile away there is a beautiful farm where you can buy morning bagels and the kids can feed the animals. As always, the owners are delightful, prepared and straightforward. The home is impeccably maintained, clean and ready for the visit. The listing description provides more and very accurate details.

Rooms and interior details are laid out to optimize ease of living and with high standard of aesthetics. We want this place to be modern yet cosy, pleasant and convenient yet natural and outdoorsy.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Location, location, location. You do not need to be a sailor or boater to be able to appreciate the private dock. Ideal for young and old kids as property is fenced in and only steps away from calm and shallow beach waters. Jump on a paddle board or float on an inflatable mattress right off into the pristine lake that is connected to the Peconic Bay. Boaters can dock here (please indicate). Or simply walk a few steps across a path and go straight onto the pristine community beach.
