Just what we had hoped for. Very Private and Serene

My brother and I and our wives me in Del Mar to spread both of my parents ashes and to take in the San Diego area. We really loved the privacy within the home with all the areas one could go to. The views were beautiful and most of all the quietness at night. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. It was the perfect home for the four of us. Kathy responds to any issues (if there are any) within minutes. We will have great memories on this trip.

The perfect location!

We spent 6 days at this house, 3 families, 9 people and we loved it! The house is huge and has a really unique layout, making it fun for everyone, definitely feels like a vacation getaway in a very quiet neighborhood. 3 balconies with ocean views. We had plenty of room, loved the huge very well equipped kitchen. A very large balcony off the 2nd floor kitchen with more than ample space to celebrate the 6-yr olds birthday with 15 people. Minutes walking time from the beaches, some awesome hiking in the Torrey Pines Reserve that we took advantage of daily. The house is well equipped with everything, including beach towels, beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, linens, a grill, etc! Convenient to a number of good restaurants. Short drive to Sea World, San Diego Zoo and downtown San Diego.. Kathy was awesome to work with and very accommodating. Thank you Kathy for sharing this wonderful property.

Family Tyme

Having recently lost my husband this was the perfect place for my children and grandchildren to come together and celebrate. The location is great as we took morning walks by the beach. The house has plenty of living space. The kitchen is well equipped for a cook like me. I was able to prepare a feast for my family. Kathy was a great host and kept in touch with me through the entire process. I would definitely recommend this home.

Perfect home for a family get away or holiday close to beach. Exceptional sunset views!!

Space for the entire family to cook, play while also having private space to relax. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, bake and entertain. Kathy the owner is responsive and a great host.

A gorgeous spot!

Kathy was a lovely host. She responded to all questions re: Del Mar kindly and expediently. She had a Christmas tree up for our Christmas week stay, which was wonderful for our 4 year old granddaughter. The views from windows and porches are spectacular. Wonderful Views

Amazing ocean views from main living room/kitchen/dining area and 2 big outdoor patio areas. Enjoyed memorable, scenic dinners with extended family on patio with incredible ocean view sunsets, relaxing sea breeze, plus great views of the Torrey Pines Reserves, so peaceful. Very clean. Convenient to Torrey Pines State Beach which was a great family beach spot, spent time there everyday. Great restaurants within a couple miles. House was a little dated, but is very nicely maintained, and the cleanliness, views and location more than made up for it. Will definitely return next time in the area.

amazing views and plenty of space!!

This stay was awesome! wonderful location, great views of the water in a high-end neighborhood. we had a large family function nearby and this place accomodated the several people staying and the visitors that stopped by or shared in large breakfasts or dinners. Kathy was awesome!! we noticed a shortage of pillows and she went straight to the local stores to buy us more and drop off more beach towels!! I really did not expect such a high level of attention, but it really elevated our experience! The property has everything you need for cooking and entertaining! I highly recommend this property! I highly recommend this property!

Awesome view and lots of room

This house was for a spring break get away with the family. It was in between both San Diego and Carlsbad and really close to the water. We had four kids that we were able to each give their own space. Kitchen had all of the basics and some more. Ocean view available from lots of the house with very good privacy. Driveway is challenging, but it gives you the view.

Beautiful, Spacious Home

The house was clean, spacious and has amazing view of the Torrey Pines State Beach. There was seven of us in the home, including four kids and we all had plenty of personal space. Kathy was extremely helpful and responsive with any questions we had. The home is also close to the highway for easy access to theme parks, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. We hope to come back!

It was fantastic - perfect for a large group

It was a wonderful place for a large group to gather - we had young children, teenagers , parents of these children as well as two grandparents - so quite a diverse group. It worked for all as there was plenty of space to enjoy being together as well as areas for quiet time. The location was fabulous as well - near enough to San Diego to enjoy the attractions while also enjoying the local beach. Thank you Kathy for letting us enjoy your home. Wish we could have stayed longer

Breeders Cup Stay

It was a great location with stunning views of the ocean. The downtown area of Del Mar was just a short drive away as was the racetrack.we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing views, fantastic host, close to great beaches and hikes

This place was great! I stayed here with a large group of friends for the Kaaboo Del Mar music festival and was not disappointed. Plenty of sleeping arrangements including an air mattress available with lots of extra linens and towels for the stay. The place is very spacious with great views of the ocean. Probably about a 20 min walk from the beach or a quick drive. Food, a market and restaurants are walkable, although coming back up the hill is a little bit of a workout. We were a 10-15 min Uber ride from the Del Mar fairgrounds where we attended the Kaaboo music festival. Would stay here again for sure.

Family Perfect

Clean, beautiful, amazing! This home was absolutely perfect for our family get together, consisting of 5 adults and 7 children ranging in ages from 3-10! Spacious and everyone had their own space for sleeping or getting away from it all. Several patios on each of the floors to enjoy the cool temperatures and relax! Spacious kitchen with and island and everything you need to cook your own meals. We ate ALL our meals here at the house although there were some pretty tempting-looking restaurants nearby! We could not have found a more perfect accommodation for our family to get together! Thank you Kathy!

amazing stay

I rented this excellent property for my family because of my wedding in San Diego. Kathy was very prompt and she even graciously allowed an early check-in! My deepest apologies to her for my fam getting out a little after the expected check out. The house was clean, spacious, and filled with all the essentials necessary for a 4 night stay. There was nothing we needed in addition to what was already there. The house had plenty of couches and sleeping spaces and our family was extremely satisfied with the stay there. We had such a good time and I almost regret not being in the house more due to my own wedding prep. I highly recommend Kathy and this location for all your vacation needs. This is a great place and the location was only 5 minutes from the beach!

Great house for families!

The house is very clean and well stocked with whatever you may need. Manager Kathy was very responsive to my questions and requests. The house has 4 bedrooms but had one extra sofa bed, which the kids slept in. The huge living room/kitchen area was really awesome! We really enjoyed the house.

Beautiful setting, wonderful house!

What a great place to stay. We were 3 couples and the space was perfect. Lots of open space and balconies, well-equipped kitchen, super comfortable beds. The house has a beautiful view of the ocean, and it is only a short drive to Torrey Pines State Park where there are hiking trails. The neighborhood is so interesting to East Coasters... every house unique! Thank you Kathy, for a perfect stay. Highly recommend!

We raised our daughter in Del Mar and she is a teacher with her masters degree in administration. We love Del Mar and the San Diego area for its great schools, climate, beachs, entertainment, restaurants, quality of life and all that the area has to offer.

Our vacation home is easy access from freeeway 5 and approximately 20-30 minutes from the airport yet we feel like we are away from it all in our own little world with the surrounding beauty of the ocean, nature and sandstone cliffs. We are a short drive down the freeway 5 to sea world ,old town and downtown san diego.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We are walking distance to the beach, and great local restaurants along Carmel Valley Road. The back of the home abuts an open space nature reserve. We also enjoy the Lagoon view, Torrey Pine Trees, and the beautiful sunsets when they occur. Watching a sail boat sail on the ocean or a wind surfer, or a ship out at sea from the great room or decks is one of the many thrills to enjoy in this home.
