Cozy beach home just a short walk to Burkes Beach.

The "Great Room" where all can assemble for meals and tv is a combination living room, kitchen, dining room and deck for true inside/outside vacationing. Adjacent is the study where glass barn doors can enclose smaller groups for drinks, chess, music or just reclining alone with a great book. In addition to the four bedrooms, there is a private study with a comfortable pull-out couch - the home has beds for 10.

The downstairs features a combination gym, game room, and theater with a comfortable sectional and large screen tv at one end, treadmill, tv and weights on the other side, with arcade games, air hockey and/or ping pong in the middle. You might not even remember you brought the kids...

And, of course, you will be close to beautiful Burkes Beach! The sound of waves will beckon you to make the short treck to the sand and shoreline--close enough to return for lunch so you can pack light. Many vacationers enjoy bike riding for miles right on the beach. Just a couple hundred steps to the North is the welcoming beachside bar of the Marriott Surf Watch and a mile up the beach is the luxurious Westin Hotel for an alternate "pitstop." It will also be "turtle season" during your stay. Please remember to fill in any large holes you make in the sand, stay off the dunes, and use red tinted flashlights while searching the shore for hatchlings at night.

For a break from the beach, paved bike paths will safely lead you through beautiful Chaplin Park, then along the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course to points beyond. Enjoy shopping and fine dining at nearby Shelter Cove, offering close access to groceries, restaurants, boutiques, salons, spas, fishing and dolphin charters, and even live theatre. We are very close to a variety of golf, tennis, and PICKLEBALL venues, too!
