Sandpiper house was great for our annual New Years trip with friends. We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, super fast host response when we needed something, huge table for our sizable group, and big comfy sofa. It's compact compared to other Manzanita places we've rented but every inch is well used. And it's a 5-minute walk to the beach!

Fantastic Home for large family vacation!

The check-in process was seamless, house was very clean and was true to on-line pictures. Management went above and beyond and super responsive to questions.

Manzanita Family Vacay

Our two families including three teensand a dog stayed for a week-long beach vacation in Manzanita. We loved the house and its proximity to the beach and the town, which has so many great places to eat and shop. There was plenty of room for everyone and the common area was so comfortable. We'd definitely stay again!

The weather was perfect and Manzanita's parade & the small town holiday spirit made for a very fun time. The house was very comfortable, roomy and accommodated our group of 7 adults and 2 kids very well. A fully equipped kitchen with a nice extra long table for our group. The gas BBQ was also nice to have. The firepit in the backyard made for fun evenings. The location is walkable to everything; golf course, downtown, and the beach is just 2 blocks away. The kids loved riding their bikes on the dead end road. Very quiet and very little traffic. We loved our stay and definitely plan to come back.

Nice gas grill, picnic table, and firepit which we used a few times. Great dishwasher as well as washing machine/dryer. Easy walk to the beach. My 11 year old grandson LOVED the foosball table and it was well used over our one week stay.

Nice stay at a family friendly beach house

A well located house an easy walk to beach access and less than 1 mile to the Main Street of Manzanita. Great for 2 families due to the bunk bed room! Kitchen is stocked with cookware but bring in the cooking basics like olive oil and salt/pepper. There is no bathtub if you have an infant. Dog friendly in the house but there is no fence in the front or back. Our dog stayed put but could be hard for dogs that like to escape.

wonderful house

Exceptionally built and designed custom home. All ammenties - exceptional fireplace, kitchen and family room. The owner has provided everything to make the stay special, including adding a new plant for the dining table.

Great family weekend away!

This vacation home was absolutely perfect for our family get together. We were seven adults, two of whom were elderly and 6 kids, plus two dogs. The sleeping and gathering spaces were perfect for everyone. The house is clean, simple yet has everything you need, tucked away in a quiet yet accessible part of Manzanita. Everyone enjoyed the trip and the house immensely, and we will definitely be rebooking at this property.

Second stay in 3 years!

This was a return stay for us. We chose it based on it's proximity to the beach, private location, and floor plan suitable for all ages. The backyard firepit is a bonus- especially when it's too windy for a beach fire. Kids loved the foosball table. Walkable to town. One of our favorites.

Fine time had by all

We enjoyed our stay of 4 nights. Very clean! Kids enjoyed foosball, good internet, perfect beach with an easy walk. Manzanita has become our new favorite beach town.

Great for multiple couples with kids

The house was very clean and well appointed. The sheets and linens were of nice quality and the house was very comfortable overall. We stayed with two other couples and we all have children so the bunk room worked out well for them. One note, the bathroom on the main level does not have a shower. Just a sink and toilet. Not a deal breaker but would have been nicer for the couple that stayed in the adjacent bedroom. Overall, I’d rent again. Easy 3 block walk to the sand before you reach a fairly flat path through the beach grass to the beach. FYI - we were pleasantly surprised when we needed a couple questions answered after office hours and were connected with a person who was more than happy to help. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Comfort of home

The layout of this home provided our family with such an enjoyable experience. We loved that it was on the end of the lane so we felt like we were in the woods. The trek to the beach didn’t feel like too much, even with small children. We love Manzanita and we loved the amenities of the kitchen and the home itself. The foosball table was the biggest hit for our children. The layout worked for my parents to stay downstairs and the rest of our large family to go upstairs with ample room.

Sandpiper was the perfect coastal experience!!

We held our Married Couples Retreat here, and the home was beautiful, close to the beach, and walkable to the charming Manzanita will be a repeat rental for us over the future years, Great for a large family, a reunion or any large gathering you intend to share a coastal experience with!
