Wow! What a fantastic place! Had everything we needed and then more. Homey, cozy vibes. Great space for dinners. Location to the beach is incredible and located on a very quiet road.

Lovely home. Thoroughly enjoyed this home. The kitchen is totally stocked! Be prepared for lots of stairsteps however.

Great location: abuts Nehalem State Park; a short walk through the dunes to the beach; 5 minute drive to the quaint seaside town of Manzanita.

Lovely home in a terrific area - last street before the state park and easy access to a gorgeous beach. Lots of space and a great communal area on the main floor with a big TV for movies after a long day out and about. Manzanita has a really cute downtown and is close to so many awesome things to do. Thanks for a great week!

Classic beach getaway

Spent a wonderful week at the Beach House. It was as good as advertised -- comfortable with a homey beach feel and special touches including an incredibly well-equipped kitchen. And, as always, the folks that work at Manzanita Beach Getaway were over-the-top friendly, efficient, and helpful.

Nice property. Very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and the decor and layout was great. There are a lot of narrow stairs, so beware if you have bad knees. The walk to the beach was short and well traveled. Great trip!

Great House, beautiful location!

Such a great house, plenty of room/space. And you will love waking up with sound of ocean outside the door/balcony. Super accesible to the beach, almost seems like you are on your own private beach.

Great Stay!

Wonderful experience and property. It's a lovely house with a well-stocked kitchen. We found everything we needed and genuinely enjoyed our stay. Great location! We reached out to the rental support staff and they couldn't have been nicer. Definitely will be back. Wonderful, so helpful. They were very kind and communicative.

Review

We really enjoyed our stay! This house has an ideal location, quiet neighborhood and close access to the beach. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything needed. My only negative comment would be that the lowest level was cold and dark. Obviously not something you could change, but it was kind of depressing. Rental company response to my request for rug cleaning was handled very promptly and graciously. Would definitly stay here again. Mary P

Great Location, Sub Par House For Price

We loved the location & ease of beach access! The kitchen was beautiful & it was great to have so many cooking options. The home presented a couple of difficulties, especially with young kids. In more than one location, metal banister pieces weren't secured properly as well as a few nails sticking out of the deck wood in the back. The shower downstairs didn't plug, making it impossible to give our kids baths. The fact that we couldn't use the backyard was very disappointing. Overall though, this house was just not the best fit for our family & our needs.

Beach

The home accommodated our large family and pets well. I thought we would have a better ocean view. Only off the back patio. None off the front porch. I would suggest you furnish the ocean view patio better for eating and sitting out. Also the bbq needs to be there too so it’s more user friendly from the kitchen. We had a few things that didn’t work well. Appliance and fireplace. Maybe the wood provided was too wet. Windows have no screens. Bugs will fly in. Also had roofing construction on the rental property next door that was a little noisy and we were unaware that this would be happening during our stay. Understandable that maintenance has to be done but would have been nice to have communication about this. We had a good family time. Just submitting this in hopes to help make things better for future guests.
