Newly remodeled single-family Beach Cottage is located in the beautiful Mainsail Gated Community. There is an Open Kitchen and Living Room with a separate Dining Room for everyone to gather. French Doors open to an Expanded Patio for relaxing and Outdoor Patio. Community Pool, BBQ, and an Open Grass Area for the kids to run and play while you sit on the patio. The Main Floor has a Master Bedroom and Master Bath for you to unwind and enjoy. The Main Floor also has an additional Guest Bathroom and Full Laundry Room. Upstairs has 3 Bedrooms and a Full Bathroom. Cottage 25 is steps away from the famous White Sand Beaches of the Gulf with no streets to cross....


Restaurants within three miles: Whales Tale, Pompano Joe's, Wahoo's, Captain Dave's, Baytown Wharf, Ocean Club, Surf Hut, Austin's Oyster Bar

Shopping: Silver Sands Outlet Mall is across the street from Mainsail complex, Winn Dixie and CVS are walking distance, Destin Commons Shopping Mall is 5 miles away, Baytown Shopping and Movie Theaters

Excellent cottage. Great communication with the owner. The cottage was exceptional and provided many amenities such as dryer sheets, salt/pepper, sugar packets and even a jar of instant coffee (not used but still a thoughtful addition), beach chairs, umbrella and beach wagon. The “short walk to the beach” was too long for the older couple with us but we were able to drive them and drop them off so this was not a game changer for us. The pool was right outside the door. All in all, a lovely experience.

Exceeded expectations

This place was perfect for our family and friends stay. They thought of everything for this rental. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t have for our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Best cottage in Mainsail!

This cottage is so perfect! It's close to the heated pool as well as the pavilion w/grills. Also, the walk to the beach isn't too bad. To top it off, the owner is fabulous! Will definitely be back

Family Vacation

The house was in perfect condition! Everything was clean and just a short walk from the beach! It was nice that the kids had their own room with beds! We will definitely be staying here again!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. The listing was exactly as pictured…clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The host was very communicative. Loved the location to the beach, restaurants, shopping. Special perks: daily garbage pickup, plenty of seating, and comfy beds Our group would absolutely stay here again.

Great Fit and Location!

This property was a great fit for my family of 8! Everyone had their own space. It is just steps from the pool in this part of the complex and an easy walk to the beach. Close to shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Destin Cottage Experience

Debbie was an outstanding host and would absolutely say this was my best experience ever for any vacation rental. Debbie provided me with the door code a few days ahead, but I had lost the code via a phone snafu and texted Debbie at 11pm that night. She sent me the code and rescued my family from a dad messup. There isn't much to say about the day to day in the house but because everything in the house was exactly as described and in exactly the condition in the pictures. The only even *slightly* not perfect thing was that the AC almost worked too well (if that's even a thing in Florida...). Even with the temperature set at 75, we would often get cold. First world problem but that's literally the only not positive thing I could say. The truth is my feelings about the cottage were solidified when we were getting ready to check out. It was the day of the worldwide IT issues in July 2024, and we were waiting to find out if our 4pm flight back home was going to be cancelled. I messaged Debbie to ask if it would be possible to stay another night if our flight was cancelled (the cottage was open that evening). She let me know it was open, and that we could stay as long as we needed, even past the normal checkout. Most hosts would make a huge deal about it. Instead she called to advise how to best handle everything from her previous airline career view. Ultimately our flight took off on time, but Debbie let us stay until the last minute. Her kindness won't be forgotten! 10/10!!
