Craig, Thank you for your review. We are sorry that your parking pass slipped down and was not visible. There is nothing we can or could have done about that, we are the property management company for the specific unit you rented out. The HOA has a contract with Will Tow, and unfortunately, your vehicle having a non-visible parking tag made you in violation of the parking requirements. We understand that in the heat of the moment, feelings and blame are hot and heavy, but it’s very disheartening that you left a review stating we offered no assistance. Not only did we call Will Tow multiple times for you, but, we also immediately filed a complaint with the HOA company regarding your specific towing situation. We also didn't immediately evict you on Sunday after we found that you had brought an unapproved/unauthorized pet in the unit and had it on the furniture. On top of that, we gave you a late checkout (2pm instead of 11am) at no additional fee for you to sort out your vehicle situation. We advise that you leave a review for Will Tow on their business page, stating your frustrations regarding the fact that they were not on site, nor answering their phones. We appreciated your notification to our company that you had to contact the San Marcos PD to get Will Tow to respond to your phone calls to reclaim your vehicle. We wish you the best and are disappointed with the outcome of your stay.

We appreciate honest reviews as they help us to enhance our services to both the guests and to the owners. The HOA of Waterwheel has implemented a strong parking policy on the property as many people that do not belong on the property try to enjoy it. There have been numerous cars towed that the guests had not displayed their parking tags and the property management companies and security are very much trying to keep the guests informed about the display of the parking tags. We will send your concerns of the cigarette butts and the gate to the HOA property management company (which is not us) to have them addressed. Forhe remaining concerns we are sending maintenance out to evaluate. Had the guest called us during their reservation we would have addressed it immediately..
