Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cons: Hair in silverware drawer, needed to wash some dishes before use, dirty under bed and ants throughout kitchen.Had to carry/drag beach lounges/umbrellas to beach.Pros:Conveniently located,beautiful grounds, well appointed,friendly staff.

We love the landscaping of the Moorings and the nice people working there. We have been going there for over ten years and will continue to do so.

Relaxing Paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and the unit! Area is so peaceful. Unit was so.... clean and maintained. Only downside was the umbrella and chair situation. The beach staff only comes out at 9:30 to drill holes for the umbrellas and then comes back at 4:30 to take them. We actually had carried our own chairs and umbrella from the community ones and he took that umbrella too. Went on and on about them being fined if it's still there at night. I told him that we carried it down and we would take it back. He didn't allow that. I get there are rules but when you are paying to enjoy the beach you should be able to stay past 4:30pm. They may want to consider someone coming around later that evening to remove them. That was the only issue we had. Other than that it was wonderful and one day I hope to live in Sanibel!!

Sanibel Moorings a great place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Sanibel Moorings, Unit 131 for two week recently. Overall we loved the resort atmosphere, grounds, and great staff. Our unit, (#131) overall was fine for my husband and myself but would have been way too small for more than two guests. The bed was very comfortable, the lanai with the partial view was great, and the unit was clean. The kitchen was a disappoint however. It was very small had the bare basics for cooking and the toaster and coffee maker have definitely seen better days!! The utensils provided were barely usable, the fry pans were nonstick but worn, and the knives were awful! ! For the price one pays for these units, I would have thought there would be better kitchen supplies. If we were to stay again, I would definitely come back to Sanibel Moorings but if it were Unit 131 I would bring at least a sharp knife to use!

Best location on the island

Easy to get on and off the island. Rent bikes to get around. The place was excellent- clean and big enough for the two of us.

Great getaway.

The place was clean and well furnished. Being by the water made it it special. Would consider staying longer if it weren’t as pricey as the daily rental.

Beautiful place to stay!

We enjoyed staying at this condo unit, it had everything we could want. Loved being close to the beach. The pool was always full, no chairs available if you didn’t get out there early. The grounds were beautiful with many plants, shrubs and flowers. We will return.
