Cuando quiera alejarse del ajetreo de la vida en la ciudad, aquí encontrará una nueva y asequible Country Carriage House. Nutria Lane es un cálido y relajante santuario 450 pies cuadrados ubicado a sólo una hora del centro de Vancouver. Cuenta con una suite de soltero totalmente contenida por encima de un garaje situado en diez acres hermosos en el sur de Langley. La granja consta de un estanque durante todo el año, caballos, gallinas, perros y gatos, además de una lechuza residente y una gran lechuza común. La construcción del Carriage House diseñada y construida por el propietario se completó en septiembre de 2011 y ofrece estacionamiento en el lugar, acceso completo a Internet y mucha privacidad. We live in Vancouver and just wanted a quiet getaway for thanksgiving weekend... it was perfect! Has everything you could need, full kitchen, washer/dryer, a huge balcony, and the cable has more channels than I've ever seen lol... close to wineries and we went out for dinner every night in Aldergrove, which was only 10 mins away. I was teasing afterwards that maybe they'd let me sign a 1 year lease on the place, but no dice :-) We'll definitely be coming out again!

We loved the property. There is also an outside deck to enjoy. The hosts were lovely and hospitable. Everything was very clean, which I always appreciate! Because perhaps we are in our 70s, the bed mattress was too soft for us, but for others that might be The perfect thing. :-) Thank you to Caroline and Larry for a lovely stay. Much appreciated and stay well. :-)

Could not have hoped for a better place to stay a few weeks. Peaceful country setting with only the frogs, birds or horse to break the complete silence but less than :10 to town. Prepare to want to move here after your stay!

Lovely place to stay for thanksgiving weekend. Property was in a lovely location and the accommodations were all we could ask for. The hosts had supplied their suite over and above what one could expect. Would definitely look forward to staying there again.

Quietness and peacefull

Beautiful inside and out,everything you need in the property and very nice decor.peace and quie t,out amongst the farms but only 10 mins from civilisation. Could,nt fault it and next time we return to canada i,m sure this place will be top of our list of where to stay.

Beautiful, peaceful rural stay

The carriage house was very well appointed with all the amenities we needed for our stay. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and welcoming. Great views, nice trails for a ride/walk. Close enough to town to be convenient, far enough away to very very quiet and safe. We will be back!!

Fabulous stay

The suite is very well equipt with everything in good shape. It was cosy over the holidays with a gas fireplace. Excellent access to shops and restaurants. A lovely rural retreat.

Beautiful getaway!

Beautiful little space. Well equipped with everything we needed. The host is lovely and very friendly. She even put cream in the fridge for my morning coffee! Very thoughtful. The setting and the property is absolutely beautiful and so quiet. So nice to come back to at the end of the day. Easy check in process as well. I would highly recommend this property!

Perfect

Lovely place and lovely owners! This is truly a home away from home and not just a cliche. So much attention has been paid to detail, from design and cleanliness, to the touches of hospitality for enjoying a comfortable and relaxing stay. Caroline and Larry have thought of everything! We booked for almost seven weeks over the Christmas holidays to visit family and friends. It was easy to find, and we arrived just as a rare snowstorm hit and were so pleased with how welcoming and cozy the carriage house was. Our visit continued through a significant cold snap, another (bigger) snowstorm, an impressive ice storm…and oh yeah, a sudden available appointment for wisdom teeth removal. This place was such a great hideaway from the world during all that, and we stayed inside more than is our habit. (Something about the gas fireplace and those heated tile floors in the bathroom and kitchen nook…mmmm.) Can’t help but think of those holiday lyrics: “Oh, the weather outside is frightful…let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!” The owners are friendly, thoughtful and kind, responsive and very, very accommodating. They went out of their way to offer us things we might need or want—even the use of a Christmas tree. We followed their homemade guidebook and enjoyed walking at all the parks and trails suggested. The wifi worked superbly for all our heavy usage, and having laundry machines in the unit was really convenient with some of the odd hours in our schedule. We loved the outdoor holiday lights, too. The location in Langley horse country is quiet and peaceful, and we often heard owls and coyotes at night. Thank you for being so kind and for the great vacation stay!

So Peaceful

This was such a beautiful and relaxing stay. The suite was clean and had everything I needed including a super comfy bed! The country roads were a pleasure to drive along when I went ion my excursions. Would highly recommend to anyone especially if you need a bit of a slow down from your hectic life!!

Peaceful stay

I had a 4 wonderful days at the Otter Lane Carriage House, located in a peaceful country setting. The property is immaculate inside and out, very well equipped. Caroline was a pleasure from my first contact until the day I left. Caroline greeted me on arrival, I enjoyed a nice chat as I was leaving and loved meeting sweet Jazzy. Hated to leave, hope I have the opportunity to stay again. Thank you Caroline for a wonderful stay at your property.

We have lived in Langley all of our lives and moved to this property in 1997. It proved to be a wonderful place to raise our family and we continue to enjoy the quite serenity of the neighbourhood. My Husband and I both work in the construction industry so designing and building a carriage house was right up our alley. We have enjoyed Vacation Rentals and loved meeting people from across this continent as well as Europe.

We love the diversity of a hobby farm. The large Maple tree as well as the many cedar trees add to the calming serenity of the location ... and of course the year round pond. We love to watch the many birds that use our piece of Langley as their sanctuary.
