Good location. It says on the listing it’s beachfront which it is not a sandy beach. It’s a rocky beach. You can’t walk on it. We were told by a waitress at one of the restaurants that all of it used to be sand, but after the hurricane it washed the sand away and it has not been replaced. I didn’t notice when I booked that there was no tv which would have been nice to have in the evenings. Val was great!

Beautiful place!!

We’ve visited Apple Bay in Tortola for decades. We were heartbroken when the water front homes were devastated by the hurricane and delighted to see some of them back online. This villa was perfect for us. Clean, amazing views, great proximity to great restaurant choices. Bonus was care taker Val. Always there to help, transition linens, etc. We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful week

We had a wonderful week at Apple Surf on Tortola. The property was exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable and convenient with great views. It was a short drive to several great beaches (Smugglers Cove, Long Bay, Cane Garden) and restaurants (Sebastians, Sugar Mill, D'Coal Pot). Definitely would recommend a rental car for getting around. Great spot for a couple looking to relax.

Perfect!

House may seem small, but when you are inside, you find there is plenty of room. Not too small at all— plenty of room for 2 adults. (A HUGE closet makes a big difference.) Can’t beat the view!!!

We've stayed at many VRBOs and this was the best!

We're usually leery of the accuracy of online reservations, but this one far exceded our expectations. The unit was exceptional in all respects, and the location was amazing assuming you like listening to the sound of waves. The many nearby resturants were all high quality, great food and great beach atmosphere. Our host representative Val was the best! He was very concientious to make sure our visit was problem free.The island took some getting used to as all roads in and out are extremely hilly with sharp curves. We had no problem driving on the left but had to be very cautious around the many blind curves.The local beaches were amazing, however the water entry at many had bands of rocks to cross until in deep enough to swim, but once in the water the clear warm water made it all worthwhile.

Surf's Up CondoI is truly a slice of paradise! As a first-time solo traveler, I was a bit nervous, but I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The condo had absolutely everything I needed—clean, comfortable, and fully stocked. I felt completely safe and at ease throughout my stay, and the calming sound of the waves right outside was pure bliss. Val, the handyman, and the greeter was incredible—so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Christian, the host, went above and beyond, assisting me every step of the way and providing fantastic recommendations that made my trip even more memorable. The location was perfect—close to everything yet peaceful and private. I left feeling so relaxed and already can’t wait to return. Villa is old and in need of update.

The screen door to the balcony needs to be replaced It doesn’t work properly and allowed small bugs to get in. The door lock to the apartment was broken so we couldn’t lock it. Not much hot water for showering. We managed but had to wait between showers. We were able to manage ok and it was in our budget so considering we were only there to sleep, it was fine. If you’re expecting luxury you’re not getting it here but if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep, it’s fine. We spent each day exploring the island and going to the beach so it was perfect for us. Also waking up to the water views from the balcony was amazing.

Perfect little spot!

We enjoyed our stay here in Apple Bay. We had friends up the hill in a big house where we spent most of our time, but this was perfect for us.

Wonderful stay at Apple Surf Villa

Very easy check in/check out. Host was very accommodating and really helpful setting up contacts for car and surfboard rental, taxi service, along with pre-stocked groceries. Perfect spot for beach and surf access. Villa itself was perfect for us.

Wonderful property! Quiet Paradise

We enjoyed our second week at Apple Surf as much as our first week! The views can’t be beat! Cleaning person comes every 4-5 days. Great cooking facilities. Plenty of Tupperware, cooler bags for shopping. Two grocery stores 5-10 minutes. Walk to restaurants. Sabastians is 2 minute walk has breakfast, lunch & dinner, bingo & karaoke twice a week & entertainment, perfect if you don’t have a car. But I would recommend getting a car to go to Smugglers great swimming beach 10 minutes away. Quiet for sleeping, very comfortable bed & pillows. Has Wi-Fi & AC which we only needed before sleeping. Will definitely be back. Management was super accommodating!

Very clean! Easy fast communication with management! Cleaning lady Louise was excellent came twice in our 2 week stay changed sheets & towels! View is awesome. Kitchen is well stocked, we even had a slow cooker!

Great getaway for two

Lovely low-key place for two people to get away. Walk to beach and a couple of restaurants, great surf sounds to sleep to. Responsive, nice crew taking care of the place and arranging checkin and cabs if you need them. Recommend having a car if you want to venture out beyond the neighborhood at all.

Perfect place for us!

We loved this little villa right on the ocean. We enjoyed watching the surfers, sunset sky and relaxing on the 2 porches. We enjoyed being able to walk to several good restaurants and beaches. The villa was nicely decorated and updated. Not having a car, it was convenient to several ferries and bays. My husband and I definitely recommend staying here

Winter Getaway

I was quite happy overall with the location. The unit was very nicely appointed, clean, and modern, just as represented by the photos. We enjoyed opening the glass doors and letting the ocean sing us to sleep. One thing that I think was a bit misleading: picture 28 on the slides would tend to indicate that there is a sandy beach directly below the property deck...however, there is only rocks there. My wife was looking forward to the ability to walk there on the beach but we could not due to the rocks. I would suggest the owner to remove this picture from the group. We managed to eat at quite many nearby restaurants and had good choices and great experiences there. Ferries are not far if you choose to explore other islands, which we did and enjoyed very much. The nearby neighborhood and even some units on the beach close to this one, are quite much still under reconstruction but as long as you understand the situation that is quite OK.

Wonderful & Relaxing Vacation

This was a great place that is right on the water! The view can not be surpassed. You wake up every morning watching the waves and pelicans. Super clean and in a great location this is hard to beat. Everything you might need is there - scissors, matches, bug spray, etc. No detail was left out. We had a wonderful vacation and would come back here is a heartbeat.

Perfect for a romantic escape!

AppleSurf is a gem! The location right on the sea wall means beautiful views from morning to night. But even better, all the little details to make a good vacation great were there... a grill with charcoal and lighter fluid, matches, coffee for that first morning, even beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels. The property management was super helpful and responsive as well. Just a wonderful place to escape the real world and relax in paradise!

A view of paradise

The pictures are accurate. It's a comfortable property with a beautiful view. Two points warrant attention. First, there are no curtains so the room gets light pretty early. I'm an early riser so it wasn't a problem. Also, although the wifi worked well, there's no television or clock radio available. I should have brought (or bought on island) some portable speakers. Otherwise, we loved the room and location.

Great View, Awesome Location

We really enjoyed our stay on Tortola and Applesurf Villa's "Seabreeze" was a perfect place to stay. The villa is not big and doesn't need to be.... it has comfortable furniture and a well equipped kitchen, perfect for a couple. Its close to some great beaches, some useful grocery markets and some terrific places to eat so we didn't have to drive far. The neighborhood seemed quite and was easy to access from Road Town. The villa was very clean and well set up for a tropical vacation (the nice blender was put to good use). The porch looking out over the bay provided a luxury feel and the housekeeping staff was very kind and helpful. Listening to the waves crash onto the rocks at night was heavenly. We will definitely return when we get another chance to get away. Thank you so much for the excellent accommodations!
