We had a great stay at this cabin in Hocking Hills and would absolutely give it five stars. Shortly before arrival we were told the stove wasn’t working, which was a bit stressful since we had planned a weekend of cooking and baking. That said, the leasing agent handled it immediately, and the issue was fixed the very next day. We made do with what we had which was a nice gas grill, air fryer, crockpot and toaster. Contractors were in and out for most of the day, but honestly, they ended up being a fun and unexpected part of our weekend — friendly, professional, and even kind enough to bring us a six-pack of beer and a bottle of local wine. We enjoyed them as much as they enjoyed us, so it truly felt like a win-win.The cabin itself is wonderful. Architecturally, it’s really interesting and enjoyable to be in. The kitchen is easy to use, the furniture is comfortable, and everything was clean when we arrived. The gas fireplace was a highlight — perfect for slow mornings with coffee and relaxing evenings. We didn’t use the hot tub, so I can’t speak to that, but the space overall is fantastic. Despite a small hiccup at the beginning, this was a memorable stay, and we’d happily recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great Hocking Hills getaway.
