The view is next level. I searched Vrbo for many hours looking for this view and I got it! Going to sleep and waking up to the basilica was a dream. I loved the cafes nearby and I loved renting a line and scooting around this magical city.

Easter in Rome

We arrived in Rome on Easter morning and stayed in the flat for five days. The flat is ideally located in a quiet street very close to the Vatican. It is is very clean, comfortable and bright. The area between the flat and the Vatican is rich with stores, restaurants and bars. It is possible to go everywhere on foot. The owner is very pleasant and helpfull. We really appreciate this flat and definitely recommend this to all.

Fantastic place to stay in Rome

We are a familiy with two children and we have spent a beautiful holiday in this apartment located in the historic center of Rome. It is very close to the Vatican (St. Peter’s Square is just across the street). This is the first time that we find an apartment better than advertisement pictures: it is very clean and well furnished. The apartment is in a quiet and convenient location: we had absolutely no problem for visit Rome, because a lots of historical sights are within easy walking distance, the bus stop is just outside the building and the subway is a short walk from the apartment. The owner Emidio is very kindly: he provided us with all the informations about sightseeing and arranged transportation for us to the airport. I would recommend this accommodation wholeheartedly.

Elegant apartment near the Vatican

What a beautiful apartment in Rome! It is spacious, exceptionally clean, artistically decorated and very comfortable. We loved the gorgeous marble floors and the small terrace with a view of dome of St. Peter's Basilica. Emidio (the owner) was very helpful when we were inquiring about it and also very accommodating when we were there. He even helped to arrange for a taxi to the train station on our last day. The apartment is in a great location near both the bus and train stops, easy walking to a large grocery store and right below are restaurants, cafes, bakeries and a quick walk to the Vatican grounds. Emidio showed us the bus and metro stops and recommended that we get a pass for these which worked out very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Rome and highly recommend this special apartment!

Manager was abrupt.

The property was very nice. However bring your own sugar, S&P, and coffee. There isn't any condiments to work with. We arrived a bit late and the manager wasn't welcoming. He was in a hurry to get us in unit and used his hand to tell us very quickly where we could find stores, etc. Not helpful. Also when you arrive at property, you have to pay taxes, and he takes a picture of all passports for the police. Taxes were 64.Euros for 3 nights. Great place but hard to find things when you don't speak the language.

About the condiments. On the website I don’t wrote that there are condiments in the apartment. The Italian law prohibits the owners of the rental apartments to leave to the guests food and beverange. In the apartment there is the text of this law (it’s clearly visible) translated into various languages (also in your language). Anyway the apartment is in the center of Rome and not in the desert and there are 3 supermakets where the guests can buy the condiments. About the check in. If you had other questions you could make me these questions during the check in or during your stay and I would have answered as I replied always to your 20 emails (about) that you sent me before the check in. About the tourist tax. There is the tourist tax in all tourist cities of the world. The tourists must pay this tax in all hotels, rental apartments, B&B etc. of Rome The tourist tax in Rome is 3,50 euros for person for night. Children until 10 years don’t pay the tax. This information is written both on the website and in the welcome email that I have been sending to my all my guests since 2011 (the tourist tax started in Rome in 2011). About the passports. The Italian law says that in all hotels, rental apartments, B&B etc. of Italy who makes the check in must take pictures of the passports or indentity cards of guests and he must send the informations to the police. At the check in I explained you this law, but as we say in Italy there is no deafness worse than that of a person who doesn't want to hear. Basically I am abrupt because I respect the laws (I don’t give the condiments and I ask the tourist tax and the passaports) and I answer to all questions.

Centrico, coqueto y limpio

Esperienza positiva!

Met all expectations

After reading all the reviews of Emidio's apartment, our expectations were very high. After spending two weeks there, they were surpassed. The location is ideal, close to the Vatican and public transportation and Stazione San Pietro. The amenities were very good allowing us to cook many meals......the neighbourhood grocery stores, bakery shop and restaurants were all closeby. Emidio is a very efficient landlord who tries his very best to please. It was magical to sleep in a comfortable bed basking in the shadows of St. Peter's dome. In no time it felt like home. Thank you Emidio. Adèle and Tom ...Ottawa Canada

Wonderful aparment in the heart of Rome

We are an English family who decided to visit Italy by car. We arrived in Rome by car from Florence and we really appreciated being able to park for free “in the shadow of the dome of Saint Peter’s” and near the apartment, because we had a lot of luggage. The apartment is much better than it appears on the website: it’s very clean, quiet and spacious. The location is excellent for exploring Rome: it is possible to go on foot to the major tourist sites. The Vatican is just across the street and the bus stop and the subway are a walking distance. Emidio, is very pleasant and helpfull. While we were planning the trip he responded immediately to my questions and when we arrived in Rome he accompanied us in the neighbourhood and showed us everything that we needed during our stay in the city. We would highly recommend this apartment.
