Renovated, designer decorated home with beautiful outdoor pool and spa. One level! EASY walk to the beach (straight shot, no twists and turns)! OR call the Dunes Buggy, free of charge, to pick you up and bring you back! Open floor plan with large bedrooms (King, Queen, 3 Doubles). Plenty of space inside and out for your family to relax. Situated on a body of water overlooking the 9th hole of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. Walking distance to the beach. PLEASE NOTE; POOL/SPA HEAT; 4/1 - 5/15 $100 per day (spa only $40/day); 5/15 - 10/31 $60 per day (spa only $40/day); 11/1 - 11/30 $100 per day (spa only $40/day). 12/1 - 4/1 -no pool heat, spa $50/day.

Guests are responsible for any damage.

We have engaged a local cleaning company to ensure the property clean and in working order when you arrive.. I also have an inspector come in AFTER it is cleaned to make sure it is clean to my standards and to go over anything that is missed.
Pest control sprays the outside for mosquitoes once a month...April - October, however, we do not guarantee mosquito free.
A welcome packet is provided approx. 30 days prior to your arrival date. It includes directions to the house, my contact information should you need anything during your stay; a Palmetto Dunes Resort map and a list of Hilton Head restaurants/shopping.

Perfect Location! Loved that we felt safe enough for our kids to ride around alone. Loved the pool area and even though we had neighbor's, it was very private!'The owners were extremely responsive, which was wonderful! Would stay here again!

Palmetto Dunes Stay

Location is superb. Pool was nice, we did pay extra to have it heated. It did require constant cleaning from leaves. Home was as listed, however, we checked in to find all trash cans full therefore nowhere to place our trash. Then trash pickup was delayed and no resolution was offered except to store trash in laundry area. Communication with the manager was timely and thorough.

Beautiful week’s stay!

Absolutely had a wonderful time! Home is just the right size and in a very quiet neighborhood. Although the picture of the pool and hot tub size are a little misleading, they were still a huge plus and my family loved them! Great time!

October Getaway

First time to Hilton Head. Palmetto Dunes was far more beautiful than I expected. House we stayed in was perfect and our host was the best that I have ever dealt with. Would definitely go back to Hilton Head and also stay at the same location.

Family getaway

This is a charming home with everything you need. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub daily. Very short walk to the beach and close to all of the restaurants. We will be coming back to this house. Communication with Carolyn was always answered in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Perfect Location

Immaculate home in a great location with entertainment and restaurants close by. Home has everything you need with a great pool and hot tub. Even has beach gear. Owners are great communicators and want your stay to be perfect. I would recommend this home and owner for your stay in Hilton Head.

Perfect For Family Beach Vacation

Property was exactly as advertised, if not better. Pool was lovely area for family fun. Beach within walking distance. Amenities at the house are everything you’ll need for a home away from home. It was a pleasure working with the owners. Communication was timely and thorough. Highly recommend this property.

Great Graduation Stay

This was our first trip to HHI, and we wanted a place for our new Marine to relax and enjoy the beach after graduation. This house did not disappoint. The cleanest and best kept rental we have ever stayed in. John and Carolyn are fantastic, Carolyn gave me so much info during my planning and they were very kind and responsive during our trip when I had questions about the pool and spa. There were so many amenities staying within this quiet, nice, beach community. It's in close proximity to great restaurants and right across in Shelter Cove there's lots to do and see. The kitchen has everything you want and more regarding appliances. Beds were comfy, and the pool area was just the right size for us. My kids range from 15-19 (hardly kids I know), and we all loved the house. Thank you for a very sturdy wagon to bring 6 chairs and the umbrella to an uncrowded and clean beach. If you are reading this review....stay here! There is even a van service included to bring you anywhere in the resort area (which is large) and it includes Shelter Cove (and the shops/supermarket, etc. there). Leave the worries at home. Thank you for letting us enjoy the house.

Special place at PD Hilton Head

What a lovely home away from home.. If you are looking for a private affordable great location on Hilton Head Island.. look no further.. Center Island, Palmetto Dunes, Golf, Pickleball, Tennis, Restaurants, easy beach access via short walk thru beautiful neighborhoods over looking golf courses, canals and water waterways. This home is updated clean and well cared for. Highly recommend!!
