The condo is well equipped, and all appliances work well. We had everything we needed to cook meals including great pans and sharp knives! The view is great, and it is a good location within walking distance to downtown restaurants. We did have a few issues with the parking lot gate and Vera, who manages the unit, was very quick to respond and help us. A/C units in bedrooms work great. The pool was kept clean and well maintained. The dive locker is more of a storage locker, so we stored our dive gear at the dive shop which we prefer anyway. Vera is very nice and at the ready if you need anything. This is a great condo and we definitely would rent it again.

Good location and view

We recently completed our two-week stay and throughly enjoyed our visit. 5th time to Bonaire but first time using this property. Unit is spacious and view is perfect. Kitchen is well equipped and suites our needs. As is common in Bonaire, the parking lot is tight but there were always spaces available. We definitely would stay here again.

just as beautiful as pictured

We just loved having the porch/lanai on the 3rd floor with an unobstructed oceanfront view. It was spectacular.The check-in had a few small issues when the property manager switched over to WhatsApp (which I found out later works better than the VRBO app for communications). But my WhatsApp had disabled itself without my knowing which held up communication for a bit. After that, all was good.

3rd Time at Playa Lechi

We have stayed at this condo site 3 times, but this is the first time at this particular apartment. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, had plenty of towels. This is the first time we used the pool, which was lovely. It would have been nice to have plastic bags for the kitchen garbage pail, soap for the laundry, sugar, napkins or paper towels. But those were pretty minor things we did without or purchased for ourselves.

Great Stay at Sea Star

Just returned from our latest trip to Bonaire. While not new to the island, this was our first time staying at Sea Star in Playa Lechi. Everything was excellent. The apartment was just as pictured. It was clean, comfortable, extremely well equiped, and had a wonderful view and patio. Vera was so easy to work with. Responsive, great communications, and there for anything we needed. She met us at the property at the start and the end of our trip. When we needed some help on a Sunday night she was there for us within 10 minutes. Couldn't be more pleased. Thanks for a wonderful trip. Look forward to seeing you again on our next trip to Bonaire.

Great view, comfy digs.

The condo was clean and ready upon our arrival. We came with a car rental so the agent met us in the parking lot. We were checked in efficiently. The view from the balcony is wonderful: frigate birds and the occasional pelican, bananaquits, sailboats, cruise ships, snorkelers, Klein Bonaire, and the evening sunset. The furniture is comfortable. The kitchen is exceptionally well appointed in our experience; the quality of the pots and pans, for example, is very good. Rentals often forego essentials such as dish soap, paper towels, and trash bags, forcing the renters to purchase these things. Not so here. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning for sleeping comfortably. Regarding some of the reviews on this site: some say it’s noisy. In our view, not very. Certainly there was no noise that kept us awake. You will hear the occasional dog barking during the day and truck rumbling by if you have the back windows open, but since you live in the front of the condo facing the water, the only real noise is the wind, the birds, and occasional voices from people strolling by. A second somewhat common comment concerns the lack of security in the parking lot. In our experience, the gate was open during the day and always shut at night. We had a remote for the times when the gate was closed. Access to the buildings is through a keyed gate. We have stayed in a lot of places in multiple countries. Vera may be the best rental agent we’ve ever worked with. All in all, an easy five stars!

Great views and facing the ocean

Excellent views from the large balcony and living room. The apartment is very well equipped and inviting. Spacious and clean. Facing the ocean, in no time you're swimming or spotting the rich underwater life. At walking distance from some nice restaurants at the centre of Kralendijk.

Excellent Waterfront location with view of Klien Bonaire

The location was awesome. We appreciated the large deck and excellent view. The apartment was well equipped with private parking. The "secured parking" was not so secure as the gate was open the entire time we were there. You can swim/snorkel directly in front of the unit. It is an easy flat walk to the downtown area which is nice as parking can be difficult downtown. We were surprised about how much noise you can hear from the unit. You have to have the deck doors open for the breeze but many motorcycles, cars, and quads "cruise" the streets both in front of and behind the building. Many of them are loud by design and this goes on very late into the night. Then later into our stay a firework stand opened right next to the complex. This added loud fireworks that went on all night long and we weren't even there for New Year's Eve! Overall and great stay, I just wished we were made aware of the noise levels in advance.

Exceptional experience

We loved our time in Bonaire. This property was clean, spacious and the views were amazing. We had plenty of room for our family of 4 including two teens. We swam in the ocean right across the street. We enjoyed the pool. We used this as a base and windsurfed at Lac bay every day. We walked into town to restaurants for dinner. Superb location. The kitchen is well stocked. There is a good supply of towels. The beds are v comfortable.

As pictured

The pictures from the balcony do not lie. The view is the big wow. The unit is lovely and spacious and well-equipped. I concur with what others have noted in that the noise from the street is a negative. On the other hand, it is a short walk to town. Snorkelling off the dock in front of Playa Lechi is fantastic; swim down to the rock piling about 1/4 mile north if you want an even bigger wow.

Great location

I think anyone would love this property. Perfect view, perfect location smack in the middle of the island. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda and watching all the boat traffic coming and going. View of Klein Bonarie's south end is great. Snorkeling around the boats in the harbor, while not much reef, still a lot of fish and other creatures to observe. We did have a minor plumbing issue during our stay, but will be corrected before the next renter's stay. It was such that it could not be corrected without water disruption, so we felt easy to live with until we left. The owners are great, easy to communicate with and very responsive to inquiries and issues, as is Sunbelt realty. Highly recommend you stay here, couldn't imagine staying anywhere else on the island. Enjoy Bonaire!

Playa Lechi

We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay at Playa Lechi while on Bonaire, diving. As others have noted, the waterfront location offers incredible sea views from the spacious third floor balcony. We found the online photos and descriptions of this unit accurate. Communication with the owners and their realty company was excellent, and they both made us feel welcomed. This property’s high ratings are well deserved.

A great experience

We booked the apartment for an intended Easter holiday. Due to Covid-19 we had to cancel several times and rebook, even after having paid part of the rental contract. In every instance Tom and Gigi were very accommodating and quickly ensured that we were fully reimbursed for the payments. The trip finally took place in July 2020. The flat was perfect for us - close to the centre of Kralendijk, well-equipped and of a great standard. We will definitely be happy to rent from Tom & Gigi again (sooner rather than later :)). Super in every way

Gigi and Tom offer a 5 star accommodation for a visit to Bonaire. The location is perfect for walking to downtown shopping and restaurants as well as to a local dive shop. Every day presents a gorgeous view of the ocean and memorable sunsets. The large lanai allows for lounging, visiting or dining. The condo is well equipped with many towels and sheets, and weekly cleaning service takes care of everything. For dining in, the kitchen lacks for nothing. I look forward to future stays in this lovely condominium.

Awesome condo in Bonaire

Playa Lechi 12 is a beautiful condo! Ocean views and beautiful sunsets. The condo is in walking distance of most restaurants. The bedrooms are spacious and the master bathroom is really nice. The kitchen has all you need to cook a great meal. It’s also nice to have a washer to use. You can sit on the lanai and enjoy the views of the sailboats. Snorkeling and diving is possible right across the street! I wood recommend this condo and would love to stay here again. Tom and Gigi were quick to respond with answers to questions we had. Best vacation we’ve had this year!

Great location! Great property!

The owner was very easy to communicate with via email and text messages. The property was in a perfect location for us and the unit was exactly as advertised. We loved Bonaire and are planning a return visit soon. Having only one set of keys was somewhat inconvenient for a group of 4. Two sets of keys would have been much easier. The condo was a nice size. Big rooms. Nice bathrooms. We spent most of our time on the balcony, enjoying the view and breeze. I gave the cleanliness 4 stars only because the elevator and walk ways were only cleaned once while we were there. Definitely 5 stars when we arrived.

Great property - amazing host

This property has an amaziing location and view of the ocean. It is beautifully decorated. The on site property manager is very responsive and helped us with details for our stay. The owners are available and respond quickly. They were also quite helpful before our arrival and answered all of our questions about the condo and area before and during our our stay. We plan to try and rent this condo on our next visit.
