Escape to Tulipwood Cabin, a modern-meets-rustic retreat tucked into 35 acres of forest. Just 10 minutes from Carbondale, this cozy getaway feels worlds away.

THE SPACE
Relax in the open living area with a queen sleeper sofa, smart TV, and fireplace. Cook in the fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) and enjoy meals at the dining table.

The bedroom features a plush king bed and the bathroom has a walk-in shower plus washer/dryer. Board games and books are provided for cozy nights in.

Step outside to your private deck with forest views. Soak in the hot tub, fire up the charcoal grill, or gather around the fire pit with complimentary firewood.

The cabin is perfect! It’s cozy, the decor is inviting and unique, the hot tub is amazing. They really thought of everything. I have zero complaints and would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing. We felt like we really did get away, but we were still close to town if we needed anything. I think this was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on at a VRBO rental. My only complaint would be the couch--I think it's time to replace it because it was not the most comfortable to sit on. Even with that, I'm still giving this 5 stars. We are already talking about coming back. The place was clean and cozy. Well stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. We didn't use the hot tub due to the weather. I would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay!! It was very relaxing, exactly what we needed. There was everything there that we needed. Communication was good and it was exactly as advertised. We will be back!! Love how informative the host is. I left my necklace and they were so quick to get it returned to me!! Highly recommend. Thank you for everything!

This place was perfect for my boyfriend and I for a long weekend. It is close to town yet far enough away to be quiet. The hot tub was so relaxing and we even saw some deer out in the woods behind the cabin. It was cozy and we definitely plan on coming back in the future. Highly recommend!

My Birthday getaway

The cabin was perfect! Has all the amenities you need!! The decor was fabulous! It definitely is a cabin in the woods. It was a very peaceful getaway. Which is what I wanted. Hiking trail right in the back of the property. Giant city state park is close by with lots of hiking trails. So I hiked during the day and sat in the hot tub. It was a perfect ending to the day. Plenty of firewood to have a fire in the evening too. Saw a deer in back of the cabin and I haven’t seen so many stars in a long time. All and all if you need to escape and just get away this is a wonderful place to do just that!

This stay was simply amazing. Will definitely be back. We enjoyed the fire pit and nights under the stars. Relaxed in the hot tub and played a few board games that were provided.

We didn’t want to leave! Beautiful place, beautiful nature, beautiful attention to detail. We loved the hot tub and watching the family of deer foraging right next to the cabin. Absolutely magical. We will have to come back again!

Excellent location, excellent communication, and excellent accommodations. This was exactly what I was looking for, a quiet location in the woods. The property is lovely and they have even created trails on the property to hike, so much I took full advantage of. I highly recommend this location and plan to visit again.

Perfect Cabin Retreat

The cabin was beautiful, the surrounding area was gorgeous, and the hot tub is amazing. Everything was perfect until I realized that I personally made a scheduling mistake. Our rental ended a night sooner than I thought I had booked, it was my mistake. So I called Allison to tell her we would be leaving asap apologizing for the mistake. She was extremely kind and accommodating. Because no one was staying the next night, she asked if we would like to continue our stay for a very fair price and we very happily accepted. Our anxiety about having to leave asap was totally relieved and we were able to spend another beautiful night at our cabin. This was a perfect way to end our wedding week and I highly recommend to couples or small families. Thank you Allison!

Ah tranquility

Everything was *muwah* (chef’s kiss)! Beautifully appointed, sparkling clean, and in tiptop shape. Not sure what I loved more…that salt spa hot tub, the cozy reading nook, or the peace and quiet that surrounded us all weekend. I almost hated to leave, but we were technically in town to see friends and do some hiking. Fortunately, everything was a quick drive. We saw the trailhead by the cabin too late to go exploring. Next time!

Restful getaway weekend

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Tulipwood cabin. It was the perfect cozy cabin for a quiet romantic weekend. The cabin is tastefully decorated, very clean and very well appointed. I was also pleased that it wasn’t too far to go for shopping and dining. We also enjoyed the hot tub every day we were there. We had such a great time that we can’t wait to stay there again very soon!
