Bambino’s #1 Italian restaurant is a block away. One more block and you are at Phelps Grove Park. Can’t be any closer to all the arts and entertainment as nearly everything is within 2 miles…even Bass Pro!!! We would love to host all of your explorations and the memories that are made with great friends and loved ones!

The house was clean, with plenty of room. It felt just like home. Great location in a quiet neighborhood (in July.) The AC kept the house cool in nearly 100 heat. Loved the place and communication was so easy for anything we'd need.

Parking in back was great but had to walk around to front door to get in no auto lock on back door. Place was very clean and bed rooms adequate size. Host was exceptional in communicating. TV went out last night of stay but we had cards to play. Quiet neighborhood. Recommend Bambinos Italian restaurant excellent fiod close by to location. Would more than likely rent again when in area.

Our stay was great. Very close to MSU campus. We had a parking pass for our event that was only 2 blocks closer, so we were able to just walk to the event on campus. The home is an older home much like the rest of the neighborhood, but it has been remodeled and decorated very nicely and stands out above the rest. Plenty of rooms, bathrooms and amenities.

The house was very clean and there was parking for many vehicles, but with no back yard to speak of, it was not very kid friendly. Overall, we had a fairly nice stay, but there were also a few things inside that we had an issue with. First, several of the living room chairs, while pretty, were very old and the legs were very rickety. In fact, we decided to put them back in the bedroom so nobody would sit in them because we were afraid they would break and we would get charged for breaking them. The microwave oven had the old turn knob and, with where it was located, you could not tell how long you had it set for. We had to guess how long to leave something in for, and if the time wasn't up, it would continue to run when you closed the door even if the oven was empty. The kitchen was a little cramped with the way it was arranged and we kept bumping into each other when trying to prepare a meal. It was easier, but more costly, to eat out.

Perfect Stay

Loved the house. Clean, close to MSU, lots of bedrooms and a nice place for everyone to sit and visit. Would definitely be a place I would want to visit again if and when I am back at MSU.

Delightful Gem is Great Location

We absolutely loved this beautiful home near MSU and downtown Springfield and walkable to Phelps Grove Park, the Springfield Art Museum, Mexican Villa, etc. It was a perfect home base for our multigeneration family of 5, with comfortable central gathering space and private rooms for us all. It was also perfect for having friends and family visit over the time we were in Springfield. I would book it again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I purchased this run-down property in 2022 and did a complete renovation while striving to maintain the original structure and beauty of this historic home. I hope you enjoy our urban blend of artistry and antiques.

Please Use Coasters and Cutting Boards Provided…almost everything is 100 years old or more.
