Perfectly placed residence to explore the unique opportunities in Spfld, MO. Right across from MSU’s campus in the heart of the city! One block from the beautiful Phelps Grove Park. Very close to downtown hosting a variety of Craft Breweries, Fine Dining, Pub Dining, Locally Owned Shopping, The Springfield Art Museum, The Moxie Independent Theater, John Q. Hammons Arena, Springfield Symphony and more!
Open to Long Term Stays.

Casa Del Mar was one of the very first homes built in Phelps Grove Neighborhood in 1906. My husband and I purchased this run-down rental property in 2022 and did a complete renovation while striving to maintain the original structure and beauty of this historic home. I hope you enjoy our urban blend of artistry and antiques. It was a huge project and we are honored to have hosted so many fantastic people this year on VRBO.

Beautiful place

Beautiful house. Our second time staying here and wont stay anywhere else. From booking to check in/out and communication with the owner made the stay easy and enjoyable.

Gem of a house

This house was perfect for us! Outside was plenty spacious for all our cars to park and big enough for games of bags and washers behind the house. We were there for graduation weekend. It was close enough to walk to graduation. The house inside is so charming and newly updated. Bright big windows. All modern appliances, plenty of towels, and other amenities.

Perfect Stay

Loved the house. Clean, close to MSU, lots of bedrooms and a nice place for everyone to sit and visit. Would definitely be a place I would want to visit again if and when I am back at MSU.

Work trip meets comfort!

The house was perfect for our group that landed in Springfield for a week for work. It was clean, comfortable, and allowed us to feel a bit of home away from home. Corresponding with the host couldn’t have been any more easier. When it was decided that we would need to stay an extra day, she was quick and responsive to our request making it happen. We will definitely try to stay here again should the need arise.

Delightful Gem is Great Location

We absolutely loved this beautiful home near MSU and downtown Springfield and walkable to Phelps Grove Park, the Springfield Art Museum, Mexican Villa, etc. It was a perfect home base for our multigeneration family of 5, with comfortable central gathering space and private rooms for us all. It was also perfect for having friends and family visit over the time we were in Springfield. I would book it again in a heartbeat.

Just perfect!

Myself, an extended family traveled from all over the country for a wedding in Springfield. The location was fantastic, we were 10 minutes from anywhere we needed to be. The neighborhood seemed like a sleepy college Community. The house had lovely finishes and there was more than enough room for us all. The central air was a lifesaver and much appreciated . Anna was very quick and responsive to any questions that we had. This house is on my list as a keeper for any future trips!

Picture perfect

The home was clean and very well appointed. Each bedroom had superior mattresses and beddings. The bathrooms were cleaned, the water pressure was great and the towels and hand clothes were better than nice hotels. — special callout for the hairdryer in each bathroom!! Thank you!! The kitchen had all the glassware, silverware, and serving plates a person would need for a week stay! This home is incredible .. the kind that you wish you had a few more days to stay and enjoy just “being home”. I highly recommend this home for a lovely stay!!

We stayed here while in town for a church conference and it was so homey and accommodating! The location was perfect. Everyone was so comfortable, and we had such a great time.
