A wonderful stay

A very nice location and the house and pier were top notch. Fishing was spotty but that happens. W.e would stay again

July 4 birthday celebration

What an amazing diamond in the rough. We will be looking into renting this place every year for the Fourth of July and it is available. We have family that have campsites in the area and this place was a hit with everyone.

Family/Grandchildren - Fun at Toledo Bend Fanily Water Park

Owner of property apologized for tall grass not being cut upon arrival however the next day after 12:00pm it was cut. I would stay there again.

Beautiful place and peaceful

House on Toledo

I have stayed at this house the last three years I love it! My kids are grown but we love to do this little family trip! Waking up to the beautiful water is amazing and they love to fish and I love to relax!

Great rental

House was clean and very roomie and comfortable. Loved the back porch and the yard which went to the waters edge. The grandchildren loved fishing from the bank. Public boat launch not far from the rental and can dock your boat at the waters edge of the rental in a cove. The only draw back was the interior steps going from the den on the lower level to the kitchen and bedrooms in the upper area. We loved the location and the spacious house.

Perfect for us!

Very nice and spacious yard with water on 2 sides of property with a great private pier, making fishing easy without leaving the property. I caught a 4lb bass and my son caught a 6 lb bass from the bank! The house has been updated some since the pictures were taken and was nicer than I expected. The view was beautiful from the home and it fit our needs perfectly. When I had questions I was answered very quickly. We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much.

Excellent as Always

Everything was clean and in order. The only thing was the grass was not cut and very high which surprised us since we know the owner and how she takes care of her property. Other than that it was excellent as always.

Family Getaway

The location is really nice and peaceful. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. We caught a lot of bream over the 4 days we were there. Teens were a little disappointed over the pier ladder being broke(we didn't know about it being broke before we got there) and they couldn't swim off the pier. House was nice and clean. Bedrooms were a tad bit warm but we had a couple fans to help that out. Overall it was nice.

Nice /Quiet Property

A few issues need to be addressed. The steps to the water from pier were missing therefore we could not get into water for swimming and boating. We were not informed the steps were no longer there. Bummer ! We could not connect to Wi-Fi. Sorry it would not work. Coffee pot did not work. Had to go buy one at the Dollar store. Place was clean and we had plenty of dishes , towels etc. Just wish we had known about steps. We made it work but we were prepared for water activities from pier. Please repair or take it out of pictures. for future customers.

Night Fishing Toledo Bend

Rented for a night fishing trip in July, great location and caught a lot of bass at night on surrounding docks and points. Great location and public boat ramp not far.

Weekend getaway

Absolutely love this place. It was our third time staying and we love it more each visit. The house is very quaint and very quiet area. The only complaint was the house was not as cool as it has been in the past.

Perfect Getaway

Such a pleasant surprise! This beautifully landscaped house sits right on the lake with an amazing private pier. Perfect getaway for our family of five. Boat launch is not even a mile away. The owner was so nice and very quick to reply. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Will definitely be booking again in the near future.

great fishing

My wife and i had stayed here several times and it is always a great place to stay. My daughter and i always catch a lot of catfish off the pier and my wife and grand daughter love to swim in the lake. Nina is a great host.

Great Lake House

Beautiful views, perfect pier and large deck to relax and enjoy family time. Very clean. This was our family’s 2nd time staying here and plan to come back. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s really a perfect place to go. :)
