Weekend in Denmark

An amazing place, inside and outside. We had 8 adults and 7 children for a 40th birthday celebration. This house handles a crowd really well . Never felt like we were top of one another. The outdoor space was great as well. A good sized back yard with a small beach for the little ones. Firepit, and kayaks for the adults. All of the kids caught fish off the dock. We brought a boat and the public launch is just across the lake. We planned ahead for food, but ended up picking up little things and firewood at Jimbob's General Store less than a mile away. All in all a great weekend. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Amazing weekend

We rented this incredible house for the weekend to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday with a group of family and friends, and it was an unforgettable experience! The house itself is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. The property is amazing, offering so much to do and enjoy. Our favorite spot was the large screened-in porch, where we gathered each morning for coffee and early chats while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The fire pit by the lake was our evening go-to, perfect for sharing stories under the stars. The dock was fantastic for fishing, and we spent hours relaxing and catching some fish. The hot tub was another highlight, offering a perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. We’re already talking about making this a tradition for all the 50th birthdays coming up in our family. We can’t wait to return and create more wonderful memories here!

An unforgettable celebration!

This was the perfect place for my husband and I (who just got married last week) to bring our two families together for the first time to have a little wedding celebration. The house is so lovely & spacious - our party had 12 adults, 3 children and 1 infant. We had plenty of spots to gather together for meals in the kitchen & dining room, fireside on the beach for drinks while the kids fished, and in the main living room area late at night. The porch was fantastic too - our parents enjoyed sitting there and getting to know one another over cocktails while we bbq'd. The kids fished almost all day long from the dock & beach while others enjoyed a quiet kayak around the pond or relaxing in the hot tub. Since returning, we can't stop talking about how perfect the weekend was and how we wouldn't change one single thing about our wedding celebration at Moose Pond with our families. A beautiful place where we had an unforgettable time!

Family fall memories made in Denmark

A beautiful fall retreat! This property was the perfect home away from home for our entire family (7 adults and one adorable toddler). In between our various day trips to nearby North Conway or the coast, we relaxed and enjoyed every bit of this amazing house. The bedroom, kitchen and dining areas were all comfortably sized to accommodate our group. We enjoyed the two large living spaces playing games or watching football in the evening. Despite the cooler temps we made the most of the outdoor spaces, including the cozy porch, soothing hot tub, and fire pit area next to the peaceful lake. We had everything we needed to make the week go smoothly. The owner communicated well and responded quickly to a small hvac issue right away. The location is rural but within a short drive to lots of fun little towns and incredibly scenery. We will always have fond memories of Moose Pond!
