Seahorse Landing - Oregon Beach Vacations

Welcome to Seahorse Landing! This family friendly 3 BD / 2.5 BA home is centrally-located in the popular Dory Pointe community. Short 5 minute walk to the beach/Cape Kiwanda, Pelican Brewing, coffee shop, and market. Adjacent to pine tree lined trails to PC Skate Park and Hart's Camp playground. Short drive to town where the Sportsman's Pub-N-Grub, Grateful Bread , Pacific Coast Candy, and other restaurants are located.

The first floor has an open floor plan with half bath and laundry room.

Spacious LIVING ROOM with 52" Smart TV with Apple Airplay and Chromecast capabilities. Guests may access Amazon Prime, Hulu, Max, Netflix, YouTube, YouTubeTV and other apps with their own accounts. Looks out to SW facing yard, offering natural light well into the evening.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM is fully equipped, has a picnic style dining table with comfortable seating for 6-8. Two bar stools at the breakfast bar, and opens to patio.

The fully-fenced backyard offers a PATIO, gas BBQ, covered GAZEBO with comfy outdoor seating, and small play castle for kids. Fire pit and bright Adirondack chairs for roasting marshmallows and fireside chats.

LAUNDRY ROOM off of the living room leads to GARAGE with with TV/DVD and leather couch as a bonus area for kids on warmer days.

The sleeping areas on the second floor offer privacy and quiet space.

PRIMARY BEDROOM located at the top of the stairs offers a king bed with memory foam mattress and full bathroom with two sink vanity and standing shower. TV with DVD player capabilities only in primary bedroom. Loveseat offers additional seating for a cozy movie watch. South facing view.

SECOND BEDROOM has low platform queen bed and standard closet. South facing view.

THIRD BEDROOM offers a queen bed and walk-in closet. North facing view.

FULL BATHROOM with one sink vanity and shower/tub combo. Linen closet adjacent to bathroom contains additional towels.

Dedicated WORK STATION on the landing. Board games located in built-in cabinets.

*Please note the living room fireplace is currently not operational.

Please note that boats, trailers, and RVs are unfortunately not permitted.

This is a lovely home with space for all of us, and a short but steep walk to the ocean, as well as a flatter, longer way to the ocean. The beach at Dory point is beautiful and has a fun sand hill to climb. The house was comfortable and a pleasant place to spend time. Comfortable beds. House was clean and had all we needed. Only two small down sides: The dining table had slightly less comfortable benches instead of chairs, and the listing didn't state that the driveway only holds two cars. I'm pretty sure you can park an additional car on the street, but that wasn't explained anywhere, and the signs in the neighborhood were somewhat intimidating about street parking. These were very small points compared to everything that was great about this lovely house in a great location.

This property was very clean and comfortable. It is well stocked. Our neighbors were loud and parked in our driveway and in the street area so we couldn't park at our house but the house was great.

As Described

Only stayed one quick night on a road trip but everything was as described in the listing. Plenty of room for family of 5 to spread out. Kids loved the ping pong table. Outdoor water tap has warm water which is great for washing up after visiting the beach and Cape Kiwanda sand dune.

The perfect spot

This property has been one of the best up kept properties we have stayed at on the Oregon coast. The location of the property is the perfect distance to the beach and to the restaurants on the other side of the river. We hope to be able to stay on this property again

Relaxation

Enjoying each other’s company yet being able to do what we each chose to do on our own. Having a room each gave us the freedom to relax and enjoy ourselves. Magnificent beach that was close enough to walk to and not crowded.
