The house was WONDERFUL! The owner responded quickly during the process. The house was more than we expected. The pictures in the listing don’t do it justice. There were so many extra touches the owner puts in the house. The bed was very comfortable (we only used one) The bathroom was big and well stocked. The only think someone might need to know is there is no kitchen table. There are 2 barstools and a tiny ledge to sit at. But they have tv trays you can set up in the living room. We eat in the living room at home so it didn’t bother us a bit lol. It has a covered porch, and we enjoyed coffee out there. We stayed 2 nights and would definitely rent this place again

Solitude and Refuge

I took a week off from life for a personal retreat. The “Cozy Nest” sure did live up to its name. You can hear a little traffic on the road below, but that proved to be good White Noise for sleeping. The place is adorable and every amenity is available. Probably better outfitted than my home. The beds are incredibly comfortable and everything works perfectly as it should. Definitely remote and a world away, but only nine minutes to downtown Mount Airy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to traveling friends or family.

Cozy and comfortable

My kids and I had a wonderful time! We only were able to stay for one night but we felt right at home. We slept great on the extra comfortable beds and soft pillows. We stopped at downtown Mt Airy for a quick visit. We all loved the town and all the friendly businesses. I must say the candles that you have here in the cozy nest really added to our stay. They smell delicious and now I will have to order some for myself. The place is spotless and easy to find. We would love to come back!
