The hot tub on the balcony was relaxing at the end of a long day of skiing. The location is very close to the base and gondola. It's also a very short drive to downtown with great food options and afterlife.

Great time in West Ketchum

Both Ceri and Alan were amazing hosts and the location is as close as you can get to the mountain. The unit is quite large and has its own private hot tub. Downtown Ketchum is about a 10-minute walk away and is full of great places to eat or just grab a drink. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful Mountain Hideaway

The Property Management team (Sherry and Allen) were wonderful, exceptionally kind and gracious. Sherry called us the day of our arrival to welcome us, and Allen was quick to respond to any request we had during our stay. The condo itself was well maintained, clean, and stocked with everything we could need. The location itself was second to none - just a few minutes walk to the base of Baldy. We will absolutely come back and stay here again!

Nice condo, great deck and hot tub. Struggled a little bit with the heat and only one fan, no A/C but didn't detract from the overall experience. Very much enjoyed it and hope to return.

Perfect location, excellent hospitality!

Pennay’s unit 2 is perfect for 2 couples or a small family. The hot tub on the deck and snowmobile shuttle back from the mountain can’t be beat. Gas fireplace, well equipped kitchen and several TVs top off the experience. The hot tub was under repair when we arrived, but we were notified in advance and were able to enjoy it on the last night of our stay. Would definitely stay here again- maybe in summer next time!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice place, nice bedrooms, kitchen, hall bathroom and fireplace, kitchen tile was a bit dated. The master bathroom sink is way too small. Spa on deck was a big selling point but we were informed a month after reserving that the spa didn't work. Mgmt credited loss of the spa at only $20 per day. Should have been a bigger discount.

Rent a different unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented a unit 2 with a private hot tub even though the unit was not updated. It was the only reason we rented unit 2. When we arrived we were told the hot tub was not working and because of the holiday, they were unable to get the part to fix it. We were in the public hot tub when another couple told us they were given the exact same excuse when they rented unit 2 over a holiday last year. Coincidence? We would have rented a different unit that was not as run down as unit 2. The owners knew we were coming for a long time and had plenty of time before our arrival to make sure the hot tub was in working order. We were not given a discount for the inconvenience. The fireplace is on a one hour timer, when the timer goes off, the fireplace will not restart for at least 30 min, sometimes longer. Be aware of the early checkout of 10 am if you have a later flight. We requested a later checkout and were denied which just topped our experience. The unit was clean but the chairs in the dining were falling apart with huge seat indentations. We were only provided with two trash bags. The location was the only good thing about our experience. I would request renting a different unit at Pennays. It is not our job as guests to confirm everything is in working condition before arrival, it should be assumed we are getting exactly what is advertised and what we paid for.

Nice spot

Nice condo, beautiful location. Remember the condo does not have air conditioning so if coming in the summer, keep that in mind. We came in the summer and it was a bit warm inside, but definitely tolerable with windows open. Would stay here again! Especially during ski season
