Wonderful stay right near the mountain

The unit was recently updated and was very clean, it also included a washer & dryer which was nice for our extended stay. Management was helpful, providing fresh towels, trash pickup and cleaning every few days. I definitely recommend this unit and visiting Ketchum!

There is a nice gas fireplace to set the ambiance, and a shared hot tub outside to relax after a long day of riding - that is just a short walk from the condo. We were walking distance to downtown Ketchum, which made transportation to restaurants and bars easy. Cheri was very accommodating and was able to help us get checked in early.

Awesome Ski Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is probably the best place to stay if you are in Sun Valley to ski. Although there is GREAT bus service in the area, you can walk or “skate” across a path to get to skiing. It’s so convenient. The 1bedroom condominium was recently updated, & had a very comfortable king bed, lots of bedroom closet space, great kitchen, large TV, washer/dryer, and wonderful fireplace. It was spotlessly clean, & had everything you needed in the kitchen. Only suggestion was lack of drawers or shelves for all your ski clothes. We had no interaction with the hosts until we checked out, but since we had stayed there before, it was really not needed (though would have been nice).

Lot of promises, reality very different

Condo OK-nothing special. No check-in-just open the units unlocked door and keys on counter. Walking to River Run is not possible if carrying skis, boots, poles. Major potholes at entrance. Parking was a disaster, nothing plowed, no sand or ice melt on treacherous steps. Husband slipped on ice, fell down, was bloodied & bruised and could only ski one day. Bad experience, won't return.

Close to Lifts

Had a really nice stay. Place was clean and just as expected. So close to the base lifts that we walked there each morning with the old dog for coffee. Will stay here again.

You c an walk uphill into downtown Ketchum 6 blocks and it is adjacent to the long Sun Valley trail system. And 100 meters from the River run plaza. And I love that Pennays is small. Perfect place for family gatherings.

Pennay’s unit 12 1 bedroom second floor condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nicely remodeled condo !Great location and the bed was super comfortable. No real view from this unit but a nice pine tree sits off the deck. One suggestion: put usable deck furniture so one could enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. A tall table and chairs so you can see over the deck rail. The cheap low chairs were basically useless. The “common area” is taken over by the residents of the property. These are not deal breakers and we really enjoyed our stay. We would opt for the first floor which has a usable patio.

We can't wait to come back next year!

Great lodging option a short (150yds?) walk from River Run lifts. Met Allen the very affable owner who is a concert pianist and awesome skier. Penney’s is an excellent value in SV!

Great stay! The location to the mountain and town were wonderful. Master bed was very comfortable. Our teenagers were fine in the bunk beds.

Our lodging was perfect!

Our check in and check out was seamless and the condo was very clean The location was perfect and close to everything necessary. The kitchen was minimally stocked but we ate out each night so it didn’t affect us. All in all it was perfect for us!!
