The Birds Nest: Sits on a cliff overlooking beautiful Eufaula lake. Enjoy sitting on the bird bench sipping hot chocolate, overlooking the serene view; stroll down the hill to the sandy beach for fun on or in the water.; or enjoy making smores over the firepit behind the house. Discover this tremendous 2 story gem with its unique eclectic charm in Eufaula. This cool house offers a comfortable stay for guests with its excellent amenities. Pop open a bottle of wine nicely cooled from the wine fridge, pour your drinks or relax in the hot tub just outside your back door (also with a view of the lake). The bedrooms feature queen beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer, touchless trash cans, and large shower for your convenience. There are 2 additional sleeping spaces, including an alcove with a twin daybed that has a popup trundle to make it 2 twins and a second family room with a cozy queen size sofa bed. For people with extra electronics, the sofa bed has built in charging outlets. In addition, nightstands in each bedroom have built in charging outlets. In addition, the sofa has a comfortable mattress with slats for support (unlike most sofa beds), cool led lighting, and built-in cupholders. Finally, the gas logs in the living room or wood burning stove in the cozy family room add to the ambiance and charm for your stay. There is also room to park a boat. .Whether you're here for work or leisure, celebration or romance, this property has everything you need. Host was fantastic, house was clean and cute. Full kitchen with a little coffee bar. Extra towels both shower and beach were in linen and laundry room. Small fenced area for dog. View was beautiful!! The trail down to the lake was washed out and blocked by wood. We still made the walk just make sure to wear proper foot wear and watch footing. :) The road in was narrow slow down and watch for the deer. Overall experience was great!!

Wonderful house. Comfy beds, clean, easy check-in. Responsive host. No problems. We loved our experience. Got to see an eagle and some deer. Need zipline from cliff to beach line lol. Lots of things to visit around the area. Porum landing has swimming and fishing too. Lake Eufala is beautiful. Being out in nature is always relaxing.

Excellent lake view! Very gracious host! The home is even better than advertised. Clean, comfortable beds, excellent wifi, more amenities than listed. The area is quiet and so peaceful. There was a fenced area for our dogs to play, and even the dog yard was clean. Excited to go back!

The home is awesome. Very open with gigantic kitchen. Plenty of sleeping spaces and nice beds. We loved the hot tub. The beach was awesome and so was the fire pit. Can't say enough good things about the property and the hosts.

July 4th at the Bird’s Nest

The location overlooking the lake was rustic and private. We utilized the grill for cooking out and the fire pit. We were pleasantly surprised by the extra food left for us to use and the lovely coffee bar provided a nice morning greeting. Because of the remote location, there were some disturbances from indoor pests, but overall it was a great stay. The flood unfortunately took away the beach below but the view of the lake was lovely. A main highlight was the beautiful deer around the property.

This cabin is awesome!! You won’t be disappointed, the view alone is worth it. The beach is huge!! Great to take walks and explore! Kitchen is really big with massive island.

Great Place for a family

The house was very well laid out. The scenery was breathtaking. The host was very responsive and helpful. The beach was great. I only wish the path down to the beach was more maintained. We had a great time!

Family Lake Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Host was very accommodating of our multiple changes in guests and quickly responded to our questions. The house was well laid out and spacious with all the normal amenities. Property has easy access to lake and benches that provide great place to watch sunrise with your morning coffee. We had a great time and look forward to our future visits.

Bugs and nats

Look of the house was great, my husband and I went for our anniversary, arrived around 4 PM got everything set up went to make dinner and the Nats were so bad they were on our food then when it’s time to go to sleep, we ended up actually putting bug spray on and slept downstairs because the upstairs was really hot, but we left as soon as it got light out the next morning because of all the nats. We live in a very wooded area and are used to bugs, but not inside our home. A trip that was supposed to be from Thursday-Sunday was less then 24 hours definitely a memorable anniversary just not in a good way.

Great Stay at The Birds Nest

My family loved our 3 night stay at The Birds Nest. Everything was very clean and welcoming. Sheri was an excellent host and had great communication. Our two girls loved making a fire, walking around the property and playing in the hot tub. I'd highly recommend adding more pictures, we loved the uniqueness of "The Nest" and feel the openness of the kitchen is something you should highlight for sure. The town of Eufaula was also nice to visit. We enjoyed going to I Smell Bacon, Tavern No 9 and Mama Tig's Pizza and visited many of the shops downtown. Thank you Sheri, hope to make it back again some day!

Great home by the lake

We spent our Christmas at The Birds Nest and absolutely loved it. The photos don't do the home justice. It's quite spacious, with many large rooms and a few spots to hide away like the front room or the side porch. It was rainy and foggy the whole week which made the grounds quite soft and so green. We really enjoyed walking around and visiting at the bench overlooking the lake. The hot tub on Christmas was awesome, along with our smores at the firepit. Both fireplaces worked wonderfully. I brought my own dishes for holiday cooking and glad I did. There are standard dishes and some cookware but I always need more. The only thing that did not work was the grill but the stovetop and oven made up for it. The host is so kind and responsive. They even decorated for the holiday, which added to all the charm. Our fam cannot wait to stay here again!

Quiet and Peaceful

Really enjoyed staying at this amazing property. You drive into the woods on a remote gravel road and just about when you think, where are we going, you are there. A jewel sitting in the woods with a great view. A true get away that is quiet, peaceful, and secluded but close to town. Home is well maintained and clean. All bedrooms are upstairs and no TV's in the bedrooms but that promoted true rest. We did not use the sleeper sofas. Loved the sound system with in ceiling speakers. Kitchen was awesome, plenty of dishes and everything working. Lots of places to sit and relax. Nice view of the lake from many windows. Loved sitting in the hot tub and watching fire flies at night while sipping perfectly chilled wine. As the host mentioned, beach was flooded and lots of debris so did not get to go down there but we enjoyed just sitting on the bench and watching the wildlife. Loved the shops in town. Sharpe's had very reasonably priced western wear. Other shops had great survivors. Lots of good places to eat. Host was responsive to questions we had during our stay. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.
