Poggio Belvedere is a private 17th-century estate set high in the Umbrian hills, with sweeping vineyard and olive grove views.

Designed for families and friends, it offers generous spaces to gather and plenty of privacy. Relax by the panoramic pool, dine beneath the century-old mulberry tree, and explore the hill towns, wineries and restaurants of Umbria and Tuscany. Our included concierge can arrange private chefs, wine tastings, cooking classes, drivers and more.

Designed for families and groups of friends, Poggio Belvedere is a private countryside estate made for spending time together and exploring the enchanting towns, landscapes, food, and wine of Umbria and Tuscany.

The villa is arranged across two levels, with the spacious Gathering Suite on the ground floor serving as the heart of the home and the main place for the entire group to cook, dine, relax, and spend time together. Upstairs, three additional private living and sleeping areas give guests plenty of space and independence. Each has its own kitchen or kitchenette, bathroom, and living space, making the layout particularly well suited to families, couples traveling together, and multigenerational groups.

Throughout the villa, high ceilings and large windows fill the interiors with natural light and frame the surrounding Umbrian countryside.

THE VILLA

The Gathering Suite | Ground Floor | 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms

The heart of the home, with generous, open spaces designed to comfortably bring the whole group together. A fully equipped kitchen with double sinks and a large oven and stovetop connects to the spacious living room with fireplace. The dining room’s floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views across the vineyards, olive groves, and Umbrian countryside, while four entrances provide an easy connection to the surrounding outdoor spaces.

The king bedroom has a large ensuite bathroom with bathtub, while the cozy queen bedroom has an adjacent bathroom with rain shower. Located entirely on the ground floor, the suite is also well suited to guests with limited mobility.

L’Arco Grand Apartment | Upper Floor | 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom

Spacious and private, with views across the olive grove toward a neighboring castle. L’Arco features a queen bedroom, walk-in closet, large bathroom with double sinks, full kitchen, dining area, and living room with a queen-size pull-out sofa.

La Vista Penthouse | Upper Floor | 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom

With panoramic views across the vineyards and surrounding countryside, La Vista features a queen bedroom, walk-in closet, rain shower bathroom, full kitchen, generous living and dining area, and private balcony overlooking the landscape.

Lo Studio | Upper Floor | Studio, 1 Bathroom

Overlooking the estate’s century-old mulberry tree, Lo Studio features a queen sleeping area, rain shower bathroom, kitchenette, and its own living and dining space.

OUTDOOR LIVING

The private 6x12m swimming pool, open April through October, looks out across vineyards, olive groves, and rolling Umbrian countryside, with plenty of space for long, relaxed days outside.

At the heart of the outdoor space is our kitchen and bar beneath the estate’s century-old mulberry tree, a natural gathering place for aperitivo, long lunches, and evenings together. It’s also where we host private cooking classes, pizza nights, wine tastings, and our signature Umbrian BBQ.

Throughout the estate you’ll find terraces, gardens, an olive grove, outdoor dining areas, and quiet corners to enjoy the views.

Spend your days by the pool, cook together, and enjoy the estate, or use it as your home base for exploring Umbria and Tuscany. Every stay includes our personal concierge service, giving you local support and recommendations both before and during your stay.

We can arrange private chefs and catered dinners at the villa, cooking classes, wine tastings and winery visits, truffle hunts, artisan experiences, massages and wellness services, grocery and wine delivery, restaurant reservations, private drivers, and days exploring the region.

For guests who would rather leave the planning to us, we can also curate complete days or an entire stay around your group.

EAT WELL

Some of our favorite places are surprisingly close to home. Within 5–10 minutes of the estate you’ll find excellent restaurants, local bars, bakeries, butchers, grocery stores, and small producers. The award-winning Maca Muta Restaurant is just 10 minutes away, while Michelin Guide restaurants and destination dining can be found throughout the region.

Or stay home. Have a chef prepare dinner, take a pasta class, enjoy a pizza or BBQ night beneath the mulberry tree, or simply cook together and open a bottle of local wine.
