Welcome to the Layover House, where your comfort is our goal! With this being our own second home, we’ve outfitted it with everything we would personally want in a stay and we are hopeful that you'll enjoy making our home yours! AMENITIES WE LOVE-

THE SPACE
The Layover House is a fully renovated 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home, loaded with every comfort and ammenity any guest could wish for in their stay. Whether its on the cozy couch by the fireplace or enjoying the Kentucky weather on the patio, we aim to make our home your home.
Every bedroom is outfitted with a premium mattress, lush bedding, multiple pillow options to match your desired firmness, as well as blackout shades and a fan for hot sleepers. Two of the three bedrooms have 43" smart tvs on swivel wall mounts and dressers in the closets. The Primary bedroom has a King bed and an en suite bathroom, and there is a shared bathroom in the hallway with a shower/tub combination. Shampoo, conditoner and body wash are provided.
The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and everything a cook could need to put together a memorable dinner. We have pots and pans, a pantry stocked with the basics and a good offering of spices, bakeware, mixer, crockpot, and just about anything else for your time away from home. We have all your bar necessities, cocktail glasses and even have plasticware for outside enjoyment! Our coffe bar with a Kuerig coffee maker, coffee pods and all the necessary condiments helps you start your day bright eyed and ready to go!
A full size washer and dryer are available by the kitchen, along with some laundry pods and dryer sheets. There is aso a handheld steamer in the cabinets above the washer.
Enjoy the lovely Kentucky weather after a long day at the horse show or on the Bourbon Trail by lounging around the fire pit in our comfy adirondack chairs. Grill up some steaks on our 7 burner grill while your friends and family sit under the patio lights and listen to the peace and quiet of the tiny Georgetown life!

House was exactly what we were looking for. Location convenient to get in and out of. We really liked the back yard and parking area. Would love to try it when it was warmer so we could enjoy an evening out (we stayed in February). Had pretty much anything we could think of we’d need. Host was quick to answer questions. Check in/out was super easy.

We had a fabulous day, the neighbors had construction going on and the owner took care of everything. This is a great house with tons of amenities. Definitely would stay here again. It’s super nice.

Perfect stay near Kentucky Horse Park
We loved this place. Nicely decorated and appointed. Very clean and close to the horse park with a cute college and neighborhood for walking. We will stay there again!

One of my Favorite rentals!
Great vacation rental. Communication before and after arrival was outstanding. Our party was 3 adults so each having our own bedroom was appreciated. We enjoyed the back patio the first evening, the front porch last evening and neighborhood walk each morning. Well decorated and everything we needed for 4 nights. Close to downtown Georgetown. We visited retired horse farm, Keeneland and Ark Encounter….perfect location for these activities. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Georgetown get away!
Very clean and newly remodeled older home near the college. Worked very well for 6 guests. Only blocks from historic downtown Georgetown, located in a nice older neighborhood.
Nicely stocked with linens, towels, kitchen amenities.
Ample parking for 3+vehicles. Great communication with manager. Convenient to attractions around and west of Lexington. Quaint old town with plenty of restaurants and attractions within 30 minutes. Manager extremely helpful with ideas and things and places to see.

Quick Bourbon Trail Trip
Our family was celebrating a 60th birthday for my husband and my daughter in laws bday as well. So we planned a quick surprise stop on our way to a wedding in NC. The home was extremely clean and the beds were so comfy! The location was great. Just a short distance to the three distilleries we visited. The host was so friendly and responded quickly when I emailed her. The firepit and cookies were an added bonus. Thank you for offering your lovely home.

Beautiful home with great host!
We booked a stay in Georgetown for a short, midweek work trip and stumbled upon Brooke’s place. We loved it!! The bed was so comfortable and the bedding helped us sleep great! The kitchen had everything we needed to make several good meals and save money on restaurants. It was furnished and decorated beautifully (according to my wife, lol) and the fire pit and patio were such a nice touch. My wife even had a great ride on the Peloton while I did some light weights. The pricing was excellent, so we will definitely be back when we can enjoy the outdoors more!

Review of Layover House
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was immaculate and was well-appointed. We appreciated the host's thoughtfulness in providing all of the extras (coffee pods, spices and cooking spray, tide pods, granola bars). The beds were super comfortable! The host was attentive and checked in every day to make sure our stay was going well. There was construction going on next door which involved loud tools quite early in the morning, and their construction vehicles were parked in front of the rental property. It did not negatively impact our stay nor was it anything the property owner had control over. I would highly recommend this property, and would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to the area.
