Thus is a very well cared for property with plenty of extras from normal VRBOs. The horses are fun to feed and the family room is filled with pool table, fireplace, piano, and board games.

A Delightful, One-of-a-Kind Getaway! We had a wonderful stay! The property itself is absolutely delightful—quirky, eccentric, and full of personality while remaining incredibly clean, comfortable, and homey. We enjoyed the birds, chipmunks, squirrels and of course feeding apples and carrots to the horses : ) The hovel out back was fun too. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. They were incredibly accommodating and attentive, and the thoughtful sweet treats they left for us were a delicious, highly appreciated touch that made us feel right at home.If you are looking for a place with unique character that doesn't sacrifice comfort or cleanliness, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a lovey time at the ranch. It was perfect for our group’s needs: letting us all be together, yet all have space. Kim personally showed us the space, and left special touches like brownie bites for us and apples and carrots to feed the horses. We were close to Golden and Boulder, and enjoyed hiking at nearby Walker Ranch.

This was a very relaxing stay for us in a hectic Family Reunion weekend. We were 5 adults and a 2 yr old. He loved the playground and especially feeding the horses! The rental is like going back to a wonderful country house in the 70's - nostalgic for us. The large living room with piano, pool table and 4 (!) easy chairs plus a couch was great. A bonus was the bird feeder out the picture window- wonderful birds and chipmunks! The trash is just inside the entrance to the grounds on the left. The hot tub was great but be sure to "air" it out as there can be a strong chlorine smell. We used it twice with no problems. The grill worked fine, a bit long of tooth but we figured it out. Bruce and Kim were fine hosts and we would like to come back and will certainly recommend.

Beautiful environment with all the comforts of home & more!! Host Kim is very attentive & has exceptional attention to detail. Plenty of room for 6 people. Everything you need you’ll find in the kitchen. Beautiful views from living & dining room. plenty of seating for all. Wonderful place for friends & family to gather. Horses on the property are very social & friendly. Hot tub is a bonus & was enjoyed morning & evening. I DEFINITELY will return !!!

The host, Kim was exceptional in making our stay comfortable. The house amenities were perfect and the house was very comfortable for our group. The best thing is Kim kept in communication with us before arriving and alerted us of winter weather so we were prepared. Great stay.

We stayed as a family of 5 in this spacious home. It is a good location to experience hiking trails and wildlife. Kim, the owner is on site and explained all amenities in detail upon arrival. Quiet location, nice terrace and a great stay!

Wonderful place to stay

Outside of the property being amazing, Kim and Bruce were excellent hosts. They thought of just about everything and when we did need something, Kim was very swift and polite with her replies. I along with the 4 friends that stayed with me, highly recommend this destination!

In the middle of trees and horses! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this Coal Creek Canyon location! The house was roomy and well stocked. And we visited with all kinds of birds, bunnies and chipmunks! It was good fun feeding the lovely horses! A great location!

Perfect

We had an amazing stay at the ranch and from the youngest (3 years old) to the oldest (75 years old) everyone enjoyed there stay. Kim was a great host and communication was easy. We stayed 5 nights and would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend to stay here.

Family vacation

Great setting and location. Clean and quiet, we found everything we needed with extras like hot tub and pool table. Friendly owner, easy to communicate. Will definitely consider staying again in the future.

Had a wonderful stay at the ranch.

We never left the ranch all day. Just enjoyed the hot tub, played pool and hung out. Love the ranch can't wait to go back

Peaceful

Clean, quiet and roomy. The horses are a plus for the kids. All amenities are within 30 minutes, close to trails and activities.

Family Ranch style with a zen feeling.

Beautiful property the horses were great to look out almost every window to see them grazing. we had a family gathering for our son’s college graduation and it worked out perfect.

Great getaway!

We had such a wonderful and peaceful time in the Canyon. The horses were wonderful for the kids, and the calmness was great for the parents. Home was clean, beds were comfy! Kim even had some extra dry goods and spice ready for us if we forgot anything.
