Living here takes place on two levels. The upper floor has enough space in the main living area for everyone to unwind and take a load off on one of the two sofas, one of which is a sleeping sofa, or melt into the oversized recliner as you stream your favorite show on the new flat-screen TV. After you're nice and toasty from the large stacked stone gas fireplace, step out onto the sizable terrace with outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill (seasonal) to admire the wooded backyard and take a breath of crisp, mountain air.
Off the living are there's the kitchen featuring polished granite slab countertops, gas range facing the high top, eat-at bar; seating for 4, and stainless steel appliances surrounded by hardwood cabinetry. Up to 8 guests can enjoy the entertainment just steps away at the wooden table nestled in the dining nook. Additional pantry space plus a washer and dryer are situated at the far end of the kitchen.
The spacious primary bedroom is a private getaway from the rest of the home and is the sole bedroom on the top floor. This bright haven includes a King sleigh bed, flat screen TV, a couch, dresser, and an ensuite bathroom. Private bath with jetted tub, a walk-in shower and mirror above a double sink vanity.
Lower floor of the home plays host to the other 3 bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a family room. 2nd living area is a space to ensure room to enjoy activities, together or separately, with seating for a great movie night. Also, a card table for a quick round of poker or one of the many challenging games stored in the cabinet.
The 1st bedroom boasts a ski theme and features a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom also has a queen-sized bed but a more rustic feel with its moose theme. The bunk bedroom is right next door and can sleep up to 4. There is a Pyramid-style bunk bed which has a double bed on the bottom and twin bed up top. There is also a trundle bed (or a twin bed that pulls out from under the lower bed of the bunk bed) for 3rd sleeping option. Plus, there is a separate twin bed for the 4th person and the makings for one memorable sleepover.
Located on the West Shore of the Lake provides a sense of calmness to the sometimes chaotic North and South Shores - both about 30 minutes away. Whether you're hitting the ski slopes, looking for some fun in the sun, or immersing yourself in nature, Cascade Woods makes the ideal home base for your next adventure to Lake Tahoe!
