Cozy home close to jet and downtown

About this space
While staying at the lake house you are sure to have a great time! It’s located within walking distance to the jet express and Port Clinton’s downtown MORA district. Our small lake house is just the right size for 2 couples or 4 friends! Feel free to use the grill or full kitchen. We offer a luxury bidet in our bathroom. WIFI is included with a 50in Roku smart tv located in the living room. The couch pulls out to a full bed. We also offer a washing machine with dryer.
The space
One bedroom with a queen bed, one living room with a pullout sofa/full bed, keep in mind if you use the sleeper sofa we have a mattress topper in the bedroom closet. It is a GameChanger and makes it super comfortable, one bathroom with luxury bidet, shower, and bathtub, one living room with smart TV, full kitchen with commercial luxury coffee maker, toaster, blender, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee, creamer, and sugar. Bicycles in shed next to house. We have a outdoor pergola with egg chair and fire pit. If you plan on having a fire, please don’t do it under the pergola. We do not provide firewood you must bring your own.

The property was perfect for our 3-night trip to Port Clinton!! The space itself was cozy and comfortable for 2 people. It was very well kept with nice amenities, in an easy, walkable neighborhood. Lee gave us a thorough list of recommendations for dining and activities, and we enjoyed everything we got to try. It was a great trip, I couldn’t ask for anything better!

This was the perfect spot for a staycation. The property was clean, updated, modern, and the outdoor area was perfect to sit outside and read which was exactly what I was looking for. The street is very quiet and perfect for relaxing. Downtown Port Clinton is a 15 minute walk which we took advantage of. The hosts were friendly and communicated quickly. This is a great property and I highly recommend! I was looking for a quiet, cozy spot to recharge and found that here. Thank you for the great stay!

Amazing place to stay! My girlfriend and I have stayed here for 1 night. The house is beautiful on the inside and the decor is very well thought out. Communication with the owner was easy and he even sent us a list of local places to eat because we are not from the area. I highly recommend this vacation rental!

Great little spot for our family of four! We visited the African Safari, Schedel Gardens, a local park & Twin Oast Brewery during our stay. Lots of attractions within 30 minutes of this location and easy to get to freeways / County roads. Lee was super responsive and check in / out is a breeze. The outdoor patio was a lovely spot to enjoy coffee in the morning. Quiet neighborhood perfect for our toddler to burn off some energy in the yard. Highly recommend!

We had a really nice 2 night stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it didn't feel walkable. It wasn't that far in distance but in the dark felt a little unsafe for 2 woman. we ended up driving to the dock and parking for 18.00 No biggie.

Wonderful anniversary get away

Great place to stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed! Super close to Gideon Owen as well as The Orchard and Twin Oast.

Weekend trip for Ohio bike week

We stayed here for 2 nights for Ohio bike week. Loved the location of the property for traveling to Sandusky! The property was perfect, very clean & cozy! I would definitely stay here again!

Great accomodations

This was perfect for our stay. We wanted a relaxing, no pressure vacation. The cottage was within easy access to restaurants and parks and beaches. Very clean and the hosts were great communicators!

Delightful bungalow.

We found this cute cottage to be exceptionally clean and comfortable. We were traveling to Put-in-bay and couldn’t have found anything better for degree of privacy and outfitted with all amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if our travels took us through this area.

The owner forgot to change the door code

The owner forgot to change the door code so we could not get in until she answered her phone. Pretty inconvenient. Nothing was done on her end to make it better for us, just an apology. Money off for the inconvenience would have been a nice solution. Instead, a poor review to warn others that this might happen to them at this rental.

All around winner

The property was back off of the road(first plus). A shed with bikes was included( second plus, although we just used it to store our bikes.) There was Ohio treats on table, coffee, tea, creamers, and sugar in cupboards, detergent and fabric softener in laundry room (plus #3!) Great size for two people. It’s close enough to the action without being too close.( Noise-free). Property was well done!

Cute Little House

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for a quick trip to Port Clinton for a match at Camp Perry, and a day at the beach with friends. The house was very clean, nicely furnished, and the furnishing were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, the Keurig attached to the water water line was an added bonus. Our daughters loved the bathroom, especially the lighted mirror. I appreciated that the host supplied extra wash cloths in the bathroom, and great quality paper products! It was nice having a washer and dryer. The hosts even provided laundry supplies, in case you didn't bring your own. Lee recommended A La Carte for breakfast, and it was a win! We went there for breakfast both mornings.

When we arrived the living room ac unit had a red light on to clean filter, it quit working the second night. Also the ceiling fan in living doesn’t work. We had no choice but to keep the front screen door open for fresh air. However the screen door was installed backwards and the window screen opens from the outside and the door closure doesn’t work properly. We did contact the agent. It was obvious she did not want to come out to the house to address this so my husband was able to get it shut, this took him about 30 mins. Only one small nite stand in the bedroom. The ceiling fan does work! No chair or bench in bedroom to sit down. No tv in bedroom. The only closet is full of extra bedding and no floor space for your luggage, only a foot of hanging space available. No safety bars in the bathroom shower only a 18 inch opening to get in n out. It has a glass door that is permanent. The porches only have one step on a 3 sided porch. Which is painted black and no hand rails around. A ball field is literally in your backyard and they have night games with lights till around 10 PM. No bathroom in the bedroom it’s on the other side of the house with no nightlight. Bring a flashlight with you!
