Black Hills Chalet

Find solace in nature`s embrace just six miles away from Rapid City. Centrally located in the Black Hills National Forest, surrounded by the beauty of nature and popular attractions. This rustic chalet cabin features 3-levels and is nestled in the pines on two acres, surrounded by only forest services to the back of the cabin. Hike or ski directly from the property to Buzzards Roost or beyond! Sit back and relax on one of the the two large desks on either the front and back of the cabin.

Walk into the ground level which has the queen bed, washer/dryer, wood-burning stove
Walk up the stairs to the second level where you will find the bathroom, kitchen, and dining areas and access to the front and rear decks. The third-level loft has two twin beds that make you feel like you are sleeping in the stars. Stairs to access this are not suitable for children under 6.
The home has the original pine flooring. Our cabin is rustic and a true A-frame.

The entire chalet is yours during your rental time frame.

There is an electronic keypad for gaining access to the cabin. I am available as needed in person and always available through this platform or by phone.

Wooded neighborhood. Quiet - Off the beaten path.

There is a carport available for parking that provides protection from the elements as needed. There is additional non-covered parking as you need.

Parking Trailers or any other vehicles is NOT allowed in the grassy area in the front of the property. There is a septic system in this area. Parking allowed on the driveway/road leading up to the property or in the area of the car port on the side of the home. Please reach out for more information on traveling with trailers.

Mini-split A/C provides for comfort to assist with temp control in the warmer months of the year and to keep you warm in winter. (All of the heat sources have been labeled for your ease in finding a comfortable temp within the cabin). PLEASE follow instructions for use. If not followed, you are at risk of freezing the unit up which you will be responsible for.
