The host did a good job communicating with us. We did have trouble with the heat while we were there and though she wasn’t able to get it fixed she did work with us to our satisfaction.

House is exactly as it looks. Stayed a couple nights to go see a baseball game with dad. Definitely not a party type neighborhood. If you're looking for a place to simply sleep and rest up for excursions to the stadiums or around KC this will do just fine. Owner was very communicative. There was a small issue with the couch before we got there (which we didn't care about) and one of the lamps didn't work (still don't care.) Owner was cool and up front about everything.

We were disappointed with our stay at this property. The house was not clean when we arrived, and it felt like it hadn’t been properly prepared for guests. Several pieces of furniture and appliances were broken or in poor condition, which made the stay less comfortable. To make things worse, the beds had pillows without pillowcases, which did not feel hygienic. Overall, the property did not meet the basic standards we expected.

It was adequate

Pros: The property offers a spacious driveway suitable for parking multiple vehicles. The sizable backyard is a positive feature, although the tire swing appears to be unusable. The air conditioning system functions effectively.Cons: The cleanliness of the property requires improvement. The dishwasher is non-operational, emits a strong odor, and there was no dish soap available; consequently, we opted not to use any dishes due to concerns about sanitation. The area around the toilet bowl was uncleaned, and the mirror appeared to have been cleaned with an oily substance. The carpets would benefit from thorough vacuuming and shampooing, with some areas showing signs of previous water damage. The hardwood floors were sticky, and the furniture appeared heavily used; some pieces seemed unsafe for use. Pest activity was observed, including spiders and webs, both live and dead. The fire extinguisher was found to be empty. Food items, such as opened cake icing, were stored in the cupboards and appeared unsafe to consume. The refrigerator contained sticky residue that we cleaned. Cleaning supplies were not provided, and the owner advised against using any chemical cleaners on the kitchen counters. One of the beds is a king size but was awkwardly positioned, obstructing the door from closing. Additionally, several blinds are damaged.This property has significant potential but would benefit from a thorough deep cleaning, ongoing maintenance, and replacement of worn furniture.

Our girl trip

It covered our needs, but was missing a few things that would have been nice to have.(Toaster, coffee maker And hair dryer.)Enjoyed the quiet area and all the trees. It was a great location.I would stay there again.

Convenient but missing accommodations

The overall house was clean and conveniently located for our needs, but there were a few issues that made it a less than 5 star experience. The online listing said the home slept 5 people, but only 2 beds were made up. There was a couch, but we had to find pillowcases for the extra pillows and there were no extra blankets - just sheets. The living room was also very sparsely furnished and made it uncomfortable to spend time in. Aside from the one couch, there were two ornate dining chairs that were very clearly broken. The check-in process also felt very insecure. The key was “hidden” in a very obvious location and the code for the lockbox would be very easy to guess. Anyone could have easily gotten into that house before we picked up the key.I wouldn’t stay here again, but I’m not upset that we stayed once.

Close to Convention center

When we arrived the air conditioner was not working. Called owner and she was very responsive! It was fixed right away the next morning. Good location, comfortable beds. Disappointed there was no coffee pot, toaster or plates for meals.

We were driving through so made a last minute one night stay. The bed was comfortable and it worked for us for what we needed. The host had great communication. I would have loved a coffee pot of some sort in the morning. I missed that on the listing when booking.

Overnight stay

We just stayed one night, pretty much just used as a place to sleep as we were at an event nearby. Overall it worked for what we needed. Just had a little trouble with the getting the door opened after unlocking but eventually figured it out.

Great One Night Stay

Nice house with easy check in process and communicative host. A few minor issues like a broken toilet seat, or the main TV remote not working, but nothing serious.

A wonderful little two bedroom house

There are not pictures to do this house justice. The living room is cozy and the cleanliness of the house is spectacular. The beds are comfy enough, and the nights are quiet for a peaceful night sleep. The backyard is big with a beautiful view. I would stay here again.

False description of things included in sray

Very little toilet paper, no pans to warm up food in oven, no real plates, very little paper towls. No shampoo like posted only 3 towels for 2 night stay. plus trash outside was full when we got here and stunk like crazy
