The hostess was very welcoming and the place was nice and clean for our stay inside the house. We enjoyed the stay very much. The house was as advertised but there were a couple of details that would have made the stay better. The house inside had been updated, clean but was not in great shape. The bathroom sink was very slow draining and retained water after a couple of people used it in the morning (to be fair we did not ask for this to be fixed during our stay out of convenience for us. I am sure the hostess would have sent someone out if we asked. They were responsive and helpful). The backyard was very spacious and would have been ideal for our dogs but we found after walking around it that there was a significant amount of brush, broken concrete, old glass, pottery shards, and nails. Unfortunately, we did not realize this until after one of our dogs got a very significant cut on her paw. I don’t bring these out to bash the property or owners just to leave an honest review. As I noted earlier the hostess was very responsive and I brought this to their attention at the end of the stay. (The yard was such an issue it likely couldn’t have been remedied during our stay) Bottom line is that if they fix the issues we discovered, we plan to rent again next holiday season. As it is, I would be concerned for the safety of kids and pets in the yard.
