Comfortable Stay

Perfect location to walk to Equity Bank field, museums, river walk. House was clean, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was more than functional.

Great little house with all the amenities in a central location

The house is super cute, well done decorating and central to Wichita. Everything was spotless and there is all the appliances that you would need for a stay. Bed is super comfortable and attached to the bathroom for convenience. Owner was very responsive and I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Home

Perfect location. Was in walking distance to our conference and many dining options. We were even close to a spa and were able to enjoy a massage. The home is wonderfully kept and well decorated. Communication was perfect and timely.

Was very comfortable place with everything we needed.

Owner was very nice and let us in early because I wasn't feeling good. It was a convenient location to attractions and had everything we needed.

Very friendly hosts from before I even arrived until after I left. Very communicative and clear directions. Clean home. Very cute and quaint with lots of history. Beautiful original hardwood floors as of my visit. Gas station, food, and attractions are very close. some within walking distance others within just a short drive. I would definitely come back and stay again.

Graduation Trip

This is a great property in a perfect location. Close to downtown and all things Delano, it was easy to get anywhere in Wichita from here. Very comfortable and well appointed. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Wichita.

Best location in Wichita

Walk less than a half-mile to the riverfront, or a few blocks to trendy Delano. Comfy bed in cute, updated historic home with backyard and grill. Loved staying here, same price as a hotel room - so much better. Will be back!

U S. Figure Skating Championships

Travelled to Wichita, ks to attend the U.S. Figure Skating Championships.Spent 3 nights in this VRBO which was very nice.Located in an older neighborhood and very close to any events held downtown.The house was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. We lacked for nothing. Highly recommend staying here. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great Wichita Visit

I didn’t actually stay at this property. This property was reserved but due to an emergency with the previous occupant they had to extend their stay and I ended up at a different property across the street. Winnie was great at communicating the change of plans and everything worked out perfectly.

Central location, new interior

I liked the central location. Easy to get downtown or anywhere east/west on Kellogg. I liked the fully appointed kitchen, all the way from dishes and pots/pans to spices and aluminum foil. The interior of this 100+ year old home wasn't just remodeled. It appeared to me to have recently been completely gutted and nicely rebuilt. Good job.

Lovely home in great location

Having never been to Wichita, we were unsure of where to stay for our event. After looking at many homes, the Modern Delano was our choice. The home is very quaint and appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication was easy and they were flexible with us as we needed an extended checkout. I highly recommend staying at this well kept, very clean home. You won’t regret it!

I am a chemist for a pharmaceutical company during the week, on weekend a styling consultant for a beautiful prom/wedding boutique in Wichita, Kansas. Jerry and I are proud owners of Historically Modern Delano close to downtown Wichita.

I graduated from Wichita State University with master in analytical chemistry, I am fluent in both mandarin Chinese and English. I consider myself outgoing and love carry out conversations.

Jerry and I try to stay fit by going to gym, yoga studio, biking, and running. Our favorite thing to do is vacationing oversea, and plan to visit more countries whenever time allows. We both have fairly busy schedules but we love to make time available for our guests. I reply promptly and love to assist, please don't hesitate to ask!

Fully furnished with brand new appliances. This house is built in 1910, it is a charming house with modern flare. If this listing falls short of guests' exceptions we like to know asap to ensure quality stay. In case of lockout and issues with entering the house, guests can speak to us directly through the ring door bell.

Please notice our front, back cameras, and ring door bell notify us with motion alerts. We are fully aware of people coming and going. Please be honest with the number of people that will be staying in this home. If you have guests visiting please let them know driveway belongs to immediate neighbor, street parking only.

Home is also equipped with 60" TV with access to Netflix, it has good wifi speed of 100mbp, but if anytime guests feel the need to upgrade to highest speed of 300mbp, there will be an upgrade fee depending on the duration of the stay, hosts need to contact provider for upgrade pricing.

Bedroom 1 next to the bathroom is equipped with a full size bed (sleep 2), bedroom 2 next to the kitchen is equipped with a queen size bed (sleep 2), and queen size air mattress can be set up in the living room upon request (sleep 2). Every airbnb has its own style but we do not provide breakfast at this listing. We are happy to recommend good breakfast restaurants in downtown for our guests to experience. Hosts do not stay at the property,
