Situated on the east end of the island, our beachfront condominium is near the intersection of the seawall and the main entrance to the island. Enjoy easy access to the Seawall and historical district’s parks, shopping, museums, trendy cafes, and cultural hotspots, making your stay as comfortable and customizable as you desire. There are no meters or other hassles of street parking here as parking is in a designated lot on the north side of the building, with other overflow parking available if needed. The open-concept living room is flooded with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With the relaxing view of the beach, it's the perfect space to unwind! Leave your cares, pool towels, and other amenities behind. Our kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes and appliances. Each bedroom has its own bathroom for added privacy. A generous amount of pool towels are provided and can be exchanged at the front desk as often as needed to enjoy the on-site heated pool and hot tub. Other onsite amenities for your enjoyment include tennis and pickle ball courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, picnic grills, and hammocks. Our management team is committed to ensuring your living experience is smooth, enjoyable, and sure to produce fond memories. Prompt response to maintenance requests and a friendly approach make us stand out.

Happy with our first stay

Reviewer Comments: Perfect location with pool and hot tub there a lot of mosquitoes on the east end of the beach because I think it's a lower area but that's not the owners fault. Condo is perfect other than the TV in the room with the ocean view does not work. The sound goes in and out other than that it was perfect. I definitely recommend this condominium I give it a 5+ price was good and they have coffee in the lobby every morning. They have wagons to transport your things to the beach they also have carts and buggies to bring your groceries and your luggage to your room

First Time Stay Blues in 704

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked a two bedroom condo in order to just get out of our house as we are disabled and don’t get out at all. Nobody mentioned to us that there would be construction work happening exactly on the floor above and the actual floor outside of the condo we were staying in BOTH days. They said an email was sent out, but I never received one . After we checked out, I was told they would look and see if they could send me a voucher for another try without construction by email, but that one must have not gotten sent either.It was just a very costly trip that I was looking so forward to the peace and quiet and relaxation of The Galvestonian, which I have wanted to stay at for the very longest, and coming home was supposed to be rested and relaxed, and not disappointed and anxious wishing I would have saved my money for something that added value to me and my wellbeing rather than depression over wasted time and money.

704 Sailor's Cove Retreat Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There are items in need of attention, and the unit, though clean is not well maintained and could use updating to provide for a nicer experience. Here are a few constructive suggestions: 1) Provide luggage racks in the bedrooms. There was no place for our luggage. 2) We purchased hangers and left them for the next guest. 3) Light above the kitchen sink needs replaced and does not work. 4) Light bulbs in the ceiling can lights need to be replaced with correct bulbs. 5) Add 1 or 2 more deck chairs even if they are collapsible, esp. since the unit sleeps six. We had to take a dining room chair outside. 6) The guest bath toilet needs to be replaced as it doesn't work properly and sits too low. 7) The toilet paper holder in the main bedroom needs to be repaired-the tap screw requires to be tightened as the paper doesn't stay on the roll. The bathrooms have a tired look and there are no backsplashes behind the vanities so the grout looks unattractive. Overall, the unit is presentable, but we would not look to book it in the future. These items I mentioned are annoying when you are on vacation and recommend the owners consider making some investments that will pay dividends. The king size beds are a plus, but some of the furniture could be replaced, esp. the chair in the main bedroom as it is very worn and a luggage rack would be greatly appreciated so guests don't have to put their suitcases on the floor. The unit needs a fresh look...
