Lovely host, villa run down

The villa is run down - as we expected from previous reviews, but I think it's reasonably priced considering when it's a large group. I'm not sure the pool area is safe, or how clean the kitchen is but we had a nice time. Leo was really lovely and it gets the stars because of him. It's a shame the owners don't invest in fixing things up and investing in it because it has a lot of potential.

Leo is the best

Leo was a great property manager. He was attentive and so helpful! The property is in a great area on the country club. The house is really nice but it could use a deep clean and a few fixtures were broken/missing.

Beautiful!!!

Our group of 14 people absolutely loved pelican Bay Villa!! Our property was beautiful and as advertised. We loved that it was on a beautiful golf course in Tulum country club. We had a private chef cook breakfast for us for most of our stay and it was delicious. Our communication with the host was exceptional and we cannot say enough positive things about Leandro! He made sure that we had everything we needed, and when we needed it! We cannot say enough good things about our 10 day vacation And highly recommend This villa to anyone wanting a beautiful place to stay with excellent service. We will definitely come back in the future!

Good for Large Groups

Overall, the house was decent especially for a large group and at the price. The house lacked nothing and the spaces were well equipped with everything we needed. The house needs a good deal of repairs and upgrades but overall a solid property for those who may want to take in a few days of golf. The neighborhood offered a lot of amenities, to include restaurants, a gym and Kay Beach! That was extremely helpful as you're going to be about 20 minutes from central Tulum and up to 40 from beachside restaurants and beach clubs. Communication was awesome with Leandro. He helped us planned out a few activities and was very timely in responding to any question we had.

First time in Akumal- this Panther Bay home has so much potential!

The home has a modern feel and was aesthetically beautiful. The bedrooms came with almost everything that was needed. The game/tv room was a nice place to hang out with a large party of 8. Large size bedrooms! However, the maintenance & upkeep was not at the level depicted in the photos or what was expected. Some window coverings/blinds did not open, bathtub stand alone facet tipped over and was not bolted to the floor, outside pool area was disheveled with lots of broken wooden decking, swim up bar sink was on the ground, lots of missing tiles in the pool, grass was not green but brown/dead and the front door lock was broken. Each bathroom was given 2 towels & housekeeping did not replenish during our 4 day stay. Unsure if that was supposed to happen. There were a total of only 4 pool towels which was not enough. There was 1 bicycle which had a back flat tire. The golf cart was unavailable to use at times as the “other rental home” rented it. That made it difficult to travel around the resort as everything is NOT walking distance. We did not hire the chef $25/$35 a meal p/p. The house host was helpful at times. He did help arrange a golf cart ride to the Kay Beach (where we spent $50usd for a daybed with umbrella) and helped with a taxi to Xel-ha. We ate at Kay Beach & the food was tasty. The golf cart was unavailable for pickup & we were directed to use the resort golf cart shuttle who told us the Panther residence is not permitted to use this. The home haspotential
