We had a lovely time! Such a pretty spot to watch the goldenrod and the first turning colors of fall - and the stars. Angel was helpful and full of good tips. Well worth the drive and the money.

Very nicely secluded and the overall setup was great. Both the dome and bathroom facilities were very clean and the grass area where the dome is located was cut nicely. It was chilly weather but the heater in the dome worked great and was a definite plus (also has AC as well) Cons: The fire pit should have been cleared of all the leaves in it to make it more appealing. The hot water heater was not working on the shower so I Took an incredibly cold shower. I also feel having a roll of paper towels in the dome supplied for the guest would be a good idea. Also making sure there is enough water in the drinking water jug and bathroom containers before a guest checks in should be done. Overall a great experience with just some more attention to detail to be aware of to make the next visit that much more confortable..

Dont get me wrong the dome itself is beautiful but the fact that it is not listed that it is directly behind someone's house practically right in there back yard with not much privacy and an outdoor shower?! I was very uncomfortable being that the ppl in the house could see everything we were doing and also the last night I was there they were blaring music and being very loud. Wasn't really the private retreat it was explained to be. Also a forewarning that your pulling up to a very run down house that look abandoned would be informing as well because my husband and I showed up early and drove up to check it out and we're completely clueless to finding out where we were supposed to be because the communication the day of the booking was not very great.

A very unique experience to stay in a dome. The photos of the property are accurate minus the shower head. There was hot water but the shower head fixed position made it difficult to shower. Air conditioner and heat inside the dome worked well. The propane fire pit was nice to enjoy as it was raining so not ideal to build a fire.

Staying in this geodesic dome was a unique experience for me. It has air conditioning and heating, but the bed was so comfortable, with plenty of plush quilts, that I was quite happy to keep the heat off during the cool nights and snuggle in. Might be cooler during day to have a screen curtain for the door. Bathroom was clean and easy to use. There's a firepit, and wood is supplied, but the propane fire pit was so much easier to use. And smokeless! Propane grill to cook and small refrigerator in the Dome. Little tricky to wash dishes but I figured out a way. Hostess was very friendly, helpful, responsive. She gave me fresh eggs! Neighbors also nice, and respectful of privacy.

Wonderful glamping experience. Host very attentive & quick to respond. From very comfortable bed, grill, refrigerator to welcoming gift basket, gazebo, gas fire table top, hot outdoor shower. Everything was enjoyable.

We loved our stay at Dome-Away, and would book a stay again there in a hot minute. Angel is a great host, the property was perfect for our needs and we loved the location for exploring the region. Compared to the other glamping offerings in the area this was a way better deal. The property is secluded and private, but all the amenities are provided. We were close to great restaurants

Absolutely beautiful accommodations & it has everything you will ever need! We had so much fun exploring the rail trail and surrounding towns. We celebrated out 25th wedding anniversary & Angel even had some champagne and milan cookies for us to enjoy! Thanks so much for hosting this fun dome away!

We truly enjoyed our trip. Our host was very responsive to our needs. The area was genuinely beautiful! We were easily able to cook on the grill and the burner. The facilities were very clean and everything worked as expected. We enjoyed making a fire and just relaxing!

Beautiful getaway

Beautiful getaway just a few hours drive from NYC. Close to hiking trails and outdoor activities, but also a good amount of restaurants/bars nearby. The host was very communicative and accommodating. The dome was the very clean and comfortable. The host also provided a small bottle of champagne and snacks which was a lovely touch.
