A small rustic cabin with queen size bed, bath with shower, kitchen and living room. Do bring your kayaks and floats, or use our kayaks. Off street parking for car and boat trailer. End of road so traffic and noise are low. Southerly facing property will provide plenty of sunshine for sitting lakeside. Sit by the fire and enjoy star filled nights. Hike, bike, swim or enjoy any Adirondack outdoor offering you prefer.

Awesome location, cozy cabin

Cabin was rustic and adorable, had all we needed, and the location was really great. It wasn’t obvious from the pics, but cabin is set behind main home and there is a lake view from the kitchen area. We enjoyed borrowing the kayaks to explore the lake, we also sat out in the evening to listen to loons and watch the stars from the shore. It’s near the end of a small road and it’s very quiet, yet only a 5min drive to several restaurants in town. The wifi signal was pretty weak, but the Roku worked great for streaming movies.

Feedback on Rental

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cabin provided easy access to the lake for kayaking, and it was great that the owners provided access to their own kayaks. The kitchen space was compact and there was plenty of pots/dishes etc. to make for easy use. The space was also very quiet, very little street noise and just the sounds of loons on the water. Just a few suggestions... Definitely need to look at the electric system. We blew a fuse by using the microwave and the toaster, and none of the electric outlets in the living room worked. We also could not get the TV to work; internet access was quite spotty.

Great experience

Great little cabin. Had plenty of amenities for what we needed. Close to town and things we wanted to see. Clean and fully stocked with dishes etc. Was first time using vrbo and am very satisfied.

Visiting my sister and nieces

First impressions are everything and this did not overly impress. Let me be clear the location was nothing shy of stunning and Lake Adirondack is just magical. However, the description of the “cabin” was not as straightforward as it could have been. The photos and description lead you to believe it is a small stand alone cabin but it is in fact more of an efficiency attached to the owners cabin. I emailed the owner before my stay to inquire about linens and towels (at the time the description mentioned nothing about bringing your own and a friend advised me to check and be sure) and was informed I needed to bring my own. Thankfully, I was staying with a friend a couple hours north and was able to borrow from her and my sister in town. When we arrived it did not appear that anyone had wiped down the sinks or counters in some time as there were spots all over the sinks and faucets, I wouldn’t normally have an issue with this but after the stay the owner wanted to charge me an extra cleaning fee for what I am not sure, as I made sure to wipe everything before we departed and left the rental in far better condition then when we arrived. I was told it was an extra cleaning fee because my sister who lives 4 miles away and her daughters came over in the evening to sit outside and enjoy the lake and fire with me and my son which was the very purpose of our visit. I wanted to love this place because it had so much charm but the hassle from the owner and some nosy neighbors Ruined it!

highly recommend!

Such a nice little cabin on indian lake. Perfect location for a nice relaxing getaway. My boyfriend and I booked Kieth’s property for a birthday/anniversary trip and we had such a great time! It’s very quiet, closed off and enjoyable! Kieth is a great host and was very helpful! Will be returning!

Tranquility and Fun

Very peaceful on the lake; limited noise from any neighbors or boaters (although some very vocal loons!) The space was cozy but had everything we needed to comfortably sleep, prepare meals, and entertain ourselves. We enjoyed using the kayaks to boat around the lake, and we made good use of the firepit. It was easy to navigate to the property, and Indian Lake was a pleasant town. We visited the Farm Market (Saturday 10 - 2), and found everything we needed in the upstairs of Pines Country Store.
