Stay in the central Adirondacks! We are on the snowmobile trail! 15 min to Gore mountain for big mountain skiing. 20 min to oak mountain/speculator. Ride the hudson Gorge white water rafting spring to fall. Visit the Adirondack experience in blue mountain lake just 15 minutes away. Rent a boat and camp on indian lake during the summer! Hike and fish! Ice fish!! Possibilities are endless. We are located in the town of indian lake. We are a classic Adirondack motel with singles 1 & 2br apt. Consider this apartment your home away from home while you visit Indian Lake. This cozy retreat features 2 bedrooms - one with a full bed and the other with a bunk bed. The bathroom comes equipped with a hair dryer for your convenience. In the additional living space, you'll find a comfy sofa bed perfect for lounging. With WiFi, AC, and heating, your stay will be nothing short of enjoyable. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place. Yes! We have hot water!!!!

The host was very communicative. The place was comfortable overall, even in frigid cold temperatures outside. We stayed here while skiing at Gore Mountain with 2 adults and 4 kids and there was room for all of us.

We had an amazing stay to pick up our daughter from nearby Long Lake Camp. The decor and cleanliness are tops. We loved the take out pizza from Puterko’s a few minutes away. The beautiful accommodation plus greet communication from Josh made this an A plus. Very roomy and lovely !

It was a good experience , It was clean and same as described in the ad. Check in and check out process was very convenient. Josh was there to to help the process.Did not take a lot of pictures but attached few just for the idea of inside and outside of the property/area. Stewarts and a small mart for any groceries if you need was on a walking distance. good restaurants and other stores in the area to explore. Good hiking trails were nearby as well. Had a wonderful stay. Would love to come back.

The kitchen and bathroom were clean with newly updated appliances. Everything was in working order.The place had a slightly musty smell. I didn't realize it was going to be right next to the road and with other cabins and a motel all right there on top of each other. The host was friendly and helpful, a good communicator.

Wendy, Thank you for your review. I will certainly address the musty smell. This is my first complaint with regards to a smell. My apologies on the location. If you had read the description in the listing you would have noted this fact. It clearly states almost verbatim that we are a classic adirondack roadside motel with single rooms, sturdios 1 and 2br units. I hope your stay was enjoyable otherwise. We are conatantly evolving and trying to improve so we appreciate your feedback.

A nice place to spend a few days. Easy access to other places in both directions. Really appreciated air conditioning this summer. Kitchen ok but short on cooking equipment. A Kuerig would be nice. Need a big cutting board to protect the counter top.

definitely charming and cozy

our host was so quick to answer and even when we had a few bumps with the heating, it was quickly fixed/ accommodated for us. the place was so cozy and charming it was a great place to wind down and relax after spending hours outdoors exploring trails and hikes. the beds were CRAZY comfortable, really made taking short naps a dangerous game to play lol Would 100% come back and recommend to others!

Winter Stay

Overall, it was a cute place and in the perfect location for what we were in town for. The heat was a bit tricky in the main rooms and we ended up using the space heater for extra heat. The kitchen could have been a bit cleaner but it had everything we needed. The owner was responsive until we were on ground. Not a huge deal not having Internet but asked a question regarding issues finding the correct wifi information that was provided and never received a response. Never received checkout procedures either.

The rental was generally as advertised, though I hadn’t realized it was part of a motel with several units on the property. After reading other reviews mentioning check-in issues, I messaged the owner several times through the VRBO app a few days before my trip. When I didn’t hear back, I was able to reach him at his cell number. He apologized and said he hadn’t received the app messages, but unfortunately hadn’t made any effort to contact me or share check-in details ahead of time. He said VRBO recommends sending door codes the morning of check-in—which is understandable—but past hosts have at least messaged to confirm that information would be forthcoming. He was responsive by phone, but personally, I feel more comfortable communicating via the VRBO channels. Aside from the communication hiccup, the beds were comfortable and the place had the basic essentials.
